SI Defense had the best ambi setup I have ever had my hands on.... but are now owned by Falkor and doesn’t look like they sell stripped receiver sets anymore. There are are a couple SI-D sets on gunbroker but look to be the standard set not fully ambi version, still awesome deal for $295 imo

Do you have a holster and mag pouches for each corresponding option? If the answer is no you could let that drive your decision back the the Eagle as it would be simple to pick up a STI rig in the classifieds compared to the 92.

I had the same thought when looking to jump into PCC (stick with the same ammo). I took a Quarter Circle 10 barrel had it cut down and Precision Armament M4-72 comp that was opened up welded in place, then set it in an ASA side charging upper with matched glock lower (looks to be outsourced to QC10). Since QC10 .40 bolts are never in stock I use a CMMG Bolt which i had Dixie Precision machine the face to accept .40 and carrier rail to run glock mags. Buffer is KAW Valley 7.5oz w/ .308 spring; and she flat runs never had one issue with factory glock mags. As gdc said stay away from ETS they are absolute junk.

That Blade Tech is for Armalite, I need a pouches for Magpul SR25 magazines. Plan to order one of the safarilands from Dillon and see if it works out. Thanks for all the recs

I ordered an open box factory swaro TL (fits all 1x models) from B&H and saved $20 off retail, they still have another in stock as of today. Also MK Machining makes 3d printed polymer ones for $20

Can you guys explain why the BRT over the 4A-IF, was thinking that larger circle would be great for close quarters? Its seems the majority have choosen the BRT just wondering what lead to that decision.

Is your experience with the "platinum" or standard versions? Bigggg price difference between the two so I would expect clarity and eye box to be vastly different also.

So I read all the reviews on the new trijicon accupower 1-8 not being daylight bright and purchased it anyway thinking it would be such a step up from my strike eagle in clarity I wouldn't mind losing a bright glowing reticle....Wrong! What options are out there for a daylight bright mid level 1x?

While I can count my total 3 gun matches on one hand I use a DAA PDR Pro II and it's rock solid.

I run the trijicon reflex not the MRO. The reflex is larger than most would use on a PCC but it's impossible not to find the dot when you throw the gun up. The large frame is for .45ACP you want small frame if you intend to build a 9.

seattledude set the bar pretty high as in the PCC world you can't go wrong with QC and JP. I fell in love with American Spirit Arms side charging platform a few years ago and now they make in it both Glock small frame and large frame sets. Their lower is a QC10 copy...something to look into for you as they sell stripped receiver sets on their site now. Only thing i would add that he left off is an Odin gun works extended magazine release. Cmore is the go to sight for all the guys i shoot with but I prefer the Trijicon reflex 34mm, thats something you will just have to try in person an see what your eye prefers.

Is the change static where it can be simply be conpensated for after some range time discovering the new POI........ or will it have a varying impact on every shot?

Have heard of folks not using barrel clamps on mag ext. due to negative impact of slug accuracy.... is this a myth or legit concern?

If it ever fails I'll grab another brigand arms, which is what my PCC wears and it's rock solid butttt 3x the price.

ALL POF triggers are 99 at primary arms right now even the 3.5lb straight! Love me some AR gold but when you can have 3 really nice triggers for the price of one it's hard to pass up.

Just finished this one up, need to squeeze in some function test and sight in time before match on the 9th. The faxon gunner barrel is super light out front and with the CF handgaurd the gun swings easy, hoping its as accurate as it is good looking!
