When you say "be honest with your hits" what exactly are you referring to? Are you using a laserlyte training system or just eyeballing your sight picture against a metric target?

The price is not really that different once you add in new guts and pads you are just under the MBX cost. You can spend hours searching the web and it's gonna be one thirty all day long. If you want a certain color base pad best bet is to call them up and purchase direct as most pro shop sites only stock limited colors.

I bought in on the hiperfire 24c hype and swapped it for my POF shot two range sessions and switched back to the POF for next competition. For the money I don't think you can beat POF or even velocity triggers.

Putting all the 2 division shooters in one squad is the worst possible option. Then you have folks trying to RO, input results, and organize an order of shooters that allows time for magazine loading. Out match director states you can sign up for 2 but if spots fill up you will be dropped to allow additional shooters. We have never had a problem with anyone lacking in assistance of pasting/painting. But our club doesn't seem to have the hatred for PCC it looks like the majority of seasoned shooters do judging by various other threads.

The AR Gold is technically a two stage and is my preference, however the reset is super quick. What application is this being used in where you would want a longer reset?

Patrick I have also seen a fair share of RFRI and RFRO not get picked in steel challenge and that is a division that has been around for awhile. Probably goes back to same statement from earlier of ROs being in the proper position not necessarily adding equipment.

So because its a provisional division PCC shooters fall into a substandard category where they bear the responsibility for making sure the clubs equipment can accurately score a string? We don't see eye to eye on that thought my friend. PCC shooters pay match fees just like everyone else! I shoot PCC because its a great entry into the USPSA world as no draw is required and it is much easier to be accurate out of a 16" Barrel vs 5" Pistol. However, after seeing the "real shooters" and their limited guns run a stage it certainly makes me want to train to be at that level with a pistol sommme day.

You are so correct I have only shot a total of 4 formal matches at two different ranges and was blown away by folks desire to help me advance my shooting skills. Sometimes I need to remind myself looks don't have any affect on hit factor!!!

Would like to see photos of various magwells on the EVO...... so far I have seen two guys with the ICE and Brazos Big Mouth. Really like the way the Brazos lines fit the contours of the EVO, but would like to see some photos of the DVC, Limcat Steel, and SVI Signature XL.

I haven't been to a range yet that allows bottleneck rounds on steel so give us another option! Seriously though the test fire for a sensitivity check on the timer at the start of the first stage option makes the most sense.

Preach brother.....my pcc is .40 so I have never had a problem but my buddy's 9 had it happen twice this past weekend. Lucky for him he clipped a no shoot so was glad for the re-shoot. Second time I saw the timer was not moving before he ever started his mandatory reload. I'm brand new to uspsa so I won't have any input on the fix but can attest to the problem for sure.

I feel the Trijicon reflex RX-30 is severely underrated for PCC. For me the field of view is cleaner compared to Eotech. Also I feel the 42mm objective makes its faster than the Cmore to pick up targets. Some say it's bulky and heavier but I feel the pros outweigh the added weight.

Anybody have any input on these? thanks
