  1. Not sure I get the logic....single stack is supposedly dying...so toss it and a bunch of other garbage into production? What are you accomplishing? If 1 guy shows up and wants to shoot single stack...who cares. The computer is already set up to handle single stack...let him shoot single stack. You can already shoot single stack in limited 10 also.
  2. 3 gunners don't use 9mm major so adding it to limited is not going to attract 3 gunners or any significant number of new shooters since most new shooters no not reload. Splitting the division into major and minor leaving all of the other rules the same doesn't require anybody to buy a new gun or make anybody's gun obsolete. The .40 you have before the split will be just as competitive against other .40s after the split.
  3. I have already listed the reasons. Splitting them doesn't change limited major...it is exactly the same...except that there wouldn't be a bunch of minor shooters to pad your position in the division results because of the scoring imbalance.
  4. I don't have a 2011 in 9mm, or any caliber for that matter. I am the LEO trade in Glock 22 guy. Actually it was a contract overrun since nobody wants them anymore, so it was not only cheap, but also new.
  5. You strike me as some older low IQ back woods redneck with an inferiority complex but no need to speculate.
  6. To be consistent, I have no issue adding a separate production major, a carry optics major, or a pcc major. If they are separate then we will find out real quick what people want. They are all just choices on the signup form, the computer makes it simple.
  7. You said earlier that splitting out minor was going to kill limited and now you are saying plenty of people want major...which is it? If so many people want limited major then their gun will never be obsolete. Limited is popular because you can mod guns and load them to capacity. It is popular despite 40 S&W not because of it. The name calling doesn't really help your already weak/confused argument. If there are enough manly men that need to compensate for their age/size/impotence with major power factor in limited then let's separate it, raise the power factor back up to 175/180, and all will be impressed by how awesome you are. I am fine with letting all of the "gay millenial nancy boys" have a limited division where minor is competitive. The sport could use more young people and broader appeal.
  8. That is the point, if nobody wants the major version why keep it on life support? 9mm handguns with capacity greater than 10 rounds dominate the handgun market. People that want to modify them, load them to capacity, and shoot factory ammo shouldn't be stuck in some division slanted in favor of those handloading powder puff rounds for a dying caliber. You grow the sport one way and come across as an ignorant fudd the other way. By the way, 40 S&W didn't start the sport, neither did 165 power factor, surprise.
  9. Production, PCC, and Carry Optics are already a "direct affront to DVC." It isn't jacking with anything, people can shoot 40 in limited major until they kick over dead. Best question is why waste the largest division in the sport propping up a cartridge that the market doesn't want? Reloader sales? Never say never.
  10. The better answer is to split out limited minor into its own division and let .40 die if it is going to die

Whatever your interpretation of it is, they sell everything they make at a great profit margin. How many other companies out there can say that? What business wouldn't like to have so many fanboys? By the way, who else is innovating? They are all making Glock 19 sized copies or in SIGs case, a shrunken Glock copy...big whoop. Most of the others have to greatly discount their guns just to keep sales up.

Evidence strongly suggests Glock has a great business plan.
  13. The number of divisions might have been a valid concern 5-10 years ago but it is silly to obsess over it now that we have computers. Id' like to see the following: 10 minor 10 major Limited minor Limited Major Carry Optics Open I have no objection to a single stack in addition to those.
  14. Not sure why people cling to this illusion of production anyway. We'd be better off to let production go the rest of the way to limited minor, name it as such, and be done with it.
  15. I said the same thing a couple months ago but everybody went nuts because I had less than 50 posts. Good Luck!
  16. 1. Limited minor 9mm can not make up the scoring disadvantage vs major with the extra 3 rounds. Limited minor 40 wouldn't even have the 3 extra rounds, so logically it would be even less competitive against limited major 40. Yes, 40 minor would be less competitive (at some fractional level) vs 40 major than 9mm minor is. Very simple, not sure how you got that confused. 2. I am arguing for a whole range of shooters that do or would choose limited minor. There are many people shooting limited minor that are far better than middle of the pack B class shooters. The game doesn't revolve around middle of the pack B class shooters. 3. I have supported, clarified, quoted others, humored the trolls, and even tried to help several of you with reading difficulties. That was my mistake. From now on I won't reply to the trolls and special people. I have already spent enough time on this thread with those people...I am calling it a thread. Later.
  17. You were the one crying about sarcasm and insult aimeds at those who disagree...and part of the guilty mob beating on us that disagree.. Shame on you
  18. Whether PCC belongs at a pistol match aside, no...I can't see any reason why your pistol classifications should be adjusted according to your PCC results. Is that actually being considered somewhere?
  19. Yuup, they have been mean to me the whole time. Horse has been beat. +2
  20. Can't clone people and have them shoot twice. Data is undeniable...an assertion made by one of the other thinking people in this thread.
  21. Most well informed people are drawing that conclusion. Even the trolls in this forum admit major has an advantage. Case has already been made...it is foolish to be in denial about something so obvious.
  22. What makes single stack so special? 1911s can shoot 10 rds just like any other large frame magazine fed gun...why do they need their own division? Why can't the 1911 "sissies" compete against everyone else with 10 rounds? Revolvers are quite a bit different than anything else and deserve their own division more than single stacks. Why do we need a division for every single type of gun?
