That looks pretty sweet. What does something like that run? Ive been shooting glocks for a couple years and just bought my first 2011 open gun used recently. Everyone talked me out of going the open glock route. Though I like the idea of it as my glocks have been bulletproof as far as reliability. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Yes. Its legal and works fine. But if you get the 17 round mags and the springer precision basepads you can fit 22-23 rounds. Little more expensive but thats what I am planning to do.

Probably not the best place to ask - But - how's the Romeo 1 holding up for you?
Explosiveo replied to ArrDave's topic in Sig
I have 3 DPP. Yet to have a issue with any of them. Also very durable. I know there are Although i have some friends that love their Romeos and would say the same. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk -
I agree about the delta point pro but I recommend the 2.5 moa dot. The 7 moa DDP is a triangle and most prefer the 2.5. I have heard people say that it is comparable to 6moa on other red dots so not every red dot lists moa the same. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

I would say get a Delta Point pro because RMR's are not great for uspsa. But if your dead set on using a RMR I would suggest the adjustable. You will often be shooting into the sun and you won't be able to see if you don't have something you can crank up really bright. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Damn. That is harsh. I feel for you bro. So stupid. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Who makes a uncaptured tugstin guide rod for Glock.
Explosiveo replied to Explosiveo's topic in Glock
Ya. I understand. I have the captured version and I am running it with the ge3-gen4 adapter. I want to get the uncaptured version. Which I was having trouble finding. Thanks to the answers above I was able to find it. Thanks to all who took the time to answer. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk -
Why is it that they restrict other generations of glock from being sold there? Seems kind of silly. I mean a lot of things related to California dont make sense. But this seems extra silly.

Weird that most of these seem to be made for the 34-35. Sounds easy enough to modify for the 17 though. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk -

Thanks for the info, that shounds perfect. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk -
I don't have one but I believe there is just a screw you take out. Similar to a Glock. In the back of the grip. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

That's lame. There are a lot still out there I'm sure. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Thanks for your answer. I think I want to go with Tungstin. Just for the added weight. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk -

Thank you sir. That is what I am looking for! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk -
I'm looking for a heavy uncaptured guide rod for a Glock 17. I want to be able to swap out spring weights really easily as I learn to reload. Plus I am having issues with the screws on my captured tungstin guide rod backing out no matter how much blue lock tight I put on it and how long I wait. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Ya. Unfortunately we just need to bust out the Dremel and buy a few hundred in extra parts. Or buy a Sig X5. Either way the cost is about the same after it's all set up for me. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Glock 34 gen 5 vs Sig p320 x-5
Explosiveo replied to thebigbeardedchef's topic in "Other" & Pistol Comparisons
I shoot a Glock 17 and having checked out a few of my buddies X5's I would strongly agree that the X5 is the way to go. The trigger is SO much better. Especially with the greyguns PELT trigger. But even stock. It's much much better. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk -
That sounds awesome but I wish I could just find a extended mag release that is good enough without busting out the epoxy. The best I've found so far is the Hyve Technologies. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

Extended mag release on the gen 3 is SO much better. For me that is reason enough to prefer it for competition. Using a gen 4 right now due to having a MOS model and being able to put my preferred red dot on it but I've gone through 3-4 different extended mag releases and still haven't found one that compaires. the Delta point pro has a HUGE window and the glass is really nice. i think its night and day vs. a RMR. I shoot a Glock 17 MOS with a DPP. But you can be compeditive with the Glock 19 with the RMR. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

I think he is saying that the Carry Optics Division hadn't been created yet the last time he was able to make it to a match. To answer your question, I dont believe that a longer barrell would make a significant difference shooting at the close distances we shoot at in uspsa when using a red dot. Since you dont have to deal with site radius. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

I havent had any issues seeing the dot in bright sunlight. At my local range we are shooting into the sun quite often. The dot on the DPP is very bright. much brighter and clearer then the dot on the Burris FF3 I have on my backup gun. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

You can mill a slide for Carry Optics. You just can't mill holes in the slide. I guess that is considered lightening. As for who to send it to. There are so many. Locally we have Brimstone Gunsmithing in Camas Washington that did a glock 17 for me. They do awesome work. But I'm sure there is someone more local to you depending where you live. Always cheaper to drop off and pick up in person. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
