  1. I think the 170mm ETS mags are a little akward. Also they are so light that they come out of the gun pretty slow when trying to do quick reloads. That is the one downside to these. They are super light. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  2. There is only one way to see which is more durable. We need to fill each with tannerite and shoot them. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  3. I had a friend that had his delta point pro fail to turn on multiple times and i personally have forgotten to turn on my fastfire 3 once or twice. So i decided to throw them on my newest gun just in case. Its painful to watch back video of someone searching for that dot that never shows as the clock rolls by. 4. Hell ya. People still use them. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  5. I would agree that you dont need them. I dont have them on my other carry optics gun. However, i would say that they do help you find the dot quicker and if you ever have a malfunction of your red dot you can always use them to fight through the stage. I have mine lower 3rd so they are there if I need them and i hardly notice them otherwise. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  6. I use ETS mags in competition. They are great quality. No complaints yet. The price is good and i love being able to see the round count at a glance. For that reason i prefer them over the magpul ones. Another benifit over magpul is they use the same baseplate system as the stock glock mags, so any baseplate or extension that works with a stock mag will work with the ETS mags. Magpul mags have 0 metal in them besides the spring. They wont magnitize to your belt. Also they just have one viewing hole to see round count. It only shows if your full. So i have a bunch sitting in my safe that i never use anymore. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  7. The Dawson. Before sighting it in. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  8. I just purchased the dawson precision ones. They are really tall to work with the delta point pro. They look huge but i like them. Plus they shipped with a free front sight tool and back sight punch. For like $70. No fiber optics on the ones i bought but that is also a option. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  9. Nice. Thanks for the info man. I have a delta point pro. Which is kind of wide. But probably can do the same with the heat gun if it rubs. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  10. On their website, if you select the glock 35 (same size as the 34) and/or a optic, it says your firearm is not compatible. Had me kind of nervous to pull the trigger on it. Thanks for confirming it works. What optic do you use if I may ask? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks. I will check that out! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  12. I am looking for a holster for the glock 35 (also could work with the glock 17) that is legal for carry optics and works well. I stumbled across this: https://www.safariland.com/all-products/model-5197-open-top-competition-holster-with-uspsa-kit-1190691.html?gclid=CjwKEAjwvr3KBRD_i_Lz6cihrDASJADUkGCa7seGuDRvv8Ulnt6aly1S5nORds6Z_aufPO4q-3Z4uBoCE47w_wcB Does this look legal? Any suggdstions? Thanks! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  13. I have been shooting USPSA for a few months now in Open minor with my heavily modified glock 17. I constantly get weird looks from people about my race holster and 170mm mags thinking that i am shooting carry optics. I have come to the conclusion with the new carry optics rule changes that maybe I should be shooting Carry optics. I have both a Glock 17 and Glock 35 that are perfectly set up for it except for ONE BIG THING. I cant stand the stock glock trigger shoe. I have the Innovative Gunfighter Solutions Enhanced Duty Triggers on all of my glocks. Even my 43. Im not sure that I am willing to go back to the stock trigger even to be in a more compeditive division. I NEED my flat faced trigger. My question is this: I read that the rule to become a legal production gun, a gun must have 500 manufactured and be offered for sale to the public. Why then is Zev or Agency Arms ETC. Guns not acceptable as production guns and therefor their triggers acceptable for use in carry optics. Yes. I know the answer is probably that they are glocks and not their own brand of firearm. But us uspsa folks are gamers and thats just how my brain works. Please offer any suggestions you may have on what to do. I feel like if I am going to continue to shoot in open i should invest in a true open gun. Or I guess......i could throw the stock trigger back in there and suffer. Any other ideas?
