  1. Everyone is entilted to their opinion. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  2. Sounds like its a fairly common thing with these budget ammo companies. Im supprised they dont test their stuff before sending it out. Or....maybe they do. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  3. I had that same issue your describing with freedom with LAX reloads. I bought 1000 and had like 2-3 per mag fail to fire. They would fire if I loaded them again. However it was just that one batch. Everything else I purchased from them worked fine. I think it was a bad batch of primers or something. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  4. Ya, thats the way to go. Then you can cheaply change spring weights if you ever want to. My problem is that If i bought reloading stuff, i would get a super nice, expensive setup. I know myself well enough to know. Im dropping at least 1000 bucks. I shoot .40 too so that is tempting to load 40 minor but freedom sells .40 for like 18-20 cents per round too. .22 cents for hollow points. They are reliable at least. Never had a failure to fire. 5. Thats pretty cheap. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  6. I shoot a USPSA match almost every weekend now. Just started in Feb though. Just havent started reloading yet. Though i probably will at some point. Been buying freedom municians 9mm for .18 a round. Hard to justify dropping a grand on a reloading setup atm. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  7. Idk. I dont reload. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk

  9. You could go with something like this with a gen 3- gen 4 adapter. http://jagerproducts.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35&products_id=94&zenid=a1luc58bbocu5r74aakf83ltr0 Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  10. A lot of people use gen 3 guide rods with a adapter. That gives you more options for swapping out springs without buying additional guide rods. You can get uncaptured springs. However sounds like that wouldnt be something she would use shooting production unless she reloads and is trying to make the gun function with very light loads. You can also purchase a standard gen 4 guide rod with tungston if you only shoot factory loads with stock spring weight. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  11. You cant use a frame mount for carry optics. You can use a slide mount in both open and carry optics. But most serious open guns use frame mount. You should make your decision based on what division you want to shoot in.
  12. I like the flat face, and the looks. Thats basically all. It doesnt have adjustments for pretravel or overtravel. Though i did purchase a overtravel kit. I have switched both my carry optics guns back to the stock trigger for now. I would like to try out the DK trigger. Its a little spendy though. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  13. I wish there were options for purchasing minor and major ammo without reloading. I am hesitant to get into reloading at the moment. But the benefits are very tempting. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  14. Mine just shipped out. FYI for anyone ordering from the Safariland website. It takes 14 days before they ship.
  15. I wasnt suggesting cheating. Just want to set things up as best i can within the rules. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  16. I ended up putting the stock triggers back in and have been shooting carry optics for the last two matches. Its been going well. I placed 1st in carry optics division in both matches. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  17. I get my ass kicked in open. Thats the only reason. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  18. I understand how the major vs minor scoring works. I just started out shooting the only gun I had. Which unfortunatly I had modified before deciding to shoot uspsa to a point that it only would fit in open. Now that the carry optics rules have losened up, i am able to shoot that though. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  19. I dont really think shooting open is the answer. Even if I have to shoot major in carry optics or down the road if I start reloading i could load .40 to minor. But im much more compeditive in carry optics. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  20. Ya. I love my red dots too much to shoot iron sights. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  21. Good suggestion. Practice, practice, practice! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  22. That Boss hanger is a great idea. I had no idea something like that existed. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  23. Thanks. Appreciate the info. My other Safariland 014 holster wont even fit on my belt. Too wide. So i had to clamp it to my inner belt. Using the 511 belt but i may have to invest in a new belt as well. I have been warned that my inner belt needs to be though my belt loops and it doesnt work with the holster clamped to it. 24. Im sold. Ordering now. This Comptech points right at my leg when in drop holster mode. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
  25. Let me know how you like it. I still havent taken the plunge but i plan to soon. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
