  1. Ya. 2.5 moa vs 3 moa. Same pretty much. I think once you get some practice with the dot it's not a issue. When I first started I had issues picking up the dot. I don't at all anymore. Except sometimes weak hand. Just takes some dryfire etc. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  2. 3moa is great for those further targets Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  3. Romeo 3 won't fit on a CO gun I believe. Not many people use them on a open gun from my experience. I have never seen anyone local using one. Almost everyone around here uses DPP. Haven't even seen anyone using a Romeo 1 on a open gun here. Though probably 50% of the CO shooters use Romeo 1s here. Because of their ease of install on the P320 and X5. The appeal is that the Romeo 3 is round and mimics a Cmore. For people that shot Cmore for many years that might be a plus. Not really a plus for me. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  4. The DPP is taller by a tiny bit. Romeo is wider by a bit. I'm not sure how you can tell. I believe ALL the 6moa are the brighter version. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  5. I have Romeo 1, DPP and FF3. I think the Romeo 1 and DPP are both very good. You can't go wrong with either. But the brightness of the Romeo 1 is great on a bright sunny day. Only the newer Romeo 1 have the enhanced brightness. Possibly only the 6moa though I hear the 3 moa will be getting it soon Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  6. The 6moa Romeo 1 is a great sight. I have one that I was planning to put on my open gun. But had a little mount issue. Ended up with a DPP on there. Everglades and Cheely both make mounts for it. The one I have is the brightest dot I've ever seen. Of coarse it's adjustable. But it goes a couple notches brighter then the DPP. I used a Romeo 1 extensively on my Carry Optics gun and I have friends that have put tens of thousands of rounds downrange with them without failure. They are great dots. Can't really go wrong with them. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  7. Hey Bill, That happened to Adam Consolvo at the oregon state uspsa championship this year. I guess those plastic basepads on the 21 round mags are supposed to stop it. But a lot of people remove those and put more low profile mag bases like the springer precision. He ended up just bending it back and continued to use it. Tim Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  8. I read somewhere on here that MBX mags are good to go right out of the box. By the time you buy STI mags and replace the springs followers and basepads they are just as expensive. So I bought a couple MBX. Been great so far! Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  9. I prefer the Gen 1 mags personally. Not a ton of experience with the Gen 2 but I have 1 Gen 2 and the design of feed lips are more spread out. Seems to be harder to keep tuned. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  10. My advice would be save up more money Everything to do with open is expensive. Want a couple more mags. Boom $300. Want a extended mag release. Boom $60. And on and on. Go get that home equity line of credit. Sell your first born and buy a Altas. If you need a referral for a good place to sell a Kidney, let me know. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    Romeo1 Shroud

Sig should have included the shroud with the romeo 1 too. Add that to the list of things they should have included. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    Romeo1 Shroud

Romeo 1 is pretty tough. I don't think that's the issue. They probably just misjudged the demand and might be sending them to military or LE before civilians. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  13. Stick a ff3 next to a delta point pro and tell me you still think size doesn't matter. But really it's not the size. It's the brightness of the dot. The DPP is much brighter. It's useable on the brightest of days where ad MY 2 ff3 I had were not useable shooting into the sun. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  14. Believe me. I know. I'm playing in open now. Where extended mag releases cost as much as a extra carry optics slide. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  15. If your going to mill it at least make sure you LOVE the dot your milling it for is all I'm saying. DPP is a great choice. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  16. Ya. Everyone has trouble indexing to the dot at first. It takes a bit to become 2nd nature. So don't base your decision 100% on that. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk Edit: Sorry didn't see your reply that you are experienced shooting a dot.
  17. One thing I would suggest is not milling a gun. Get a gun like the Glock mos where you can change to a different red dot down the road if you choose. You never know what amazing stuff might come out next year that you have never even heard of. I have one Glock I milled for a Burris fastfire. I regret it as I use delta point pros now. Always nice to not be committed forever to a dot if possible. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  18. Yes. I know Atlas uses different screws when they mount them. I haven't had issues with the oem screws. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  19. Yep. Ff3 doesn't get bright enough for those sunny days. I used one on a carry optics gun a while ago. Once I tried the DPP I never could go back. The window is larger, glass is clearer, and the dot is significantly brighter. The brighter the dot, the more adjustment you have to be able to get your dot perfect for your environment. Which is a huge advantage. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  20. No. I have 5 DPP. Haven't had any of them lose zero. Send it in. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  21. Very, very much doubt that will happen. They have been opening up the rules as of late. Not closing them off. For instance they now allow slides to be milled with lightening holes etc. They wouldn't do anything that would make your gun you just spent a ton of money on unusable. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  22. You will see the dot in your vision and will be waiting for it to come back on target before firing your second shot if it's far enough to matter. But if your close enough you can just double tap anyway. It all depends on target distance. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  23. You should be looking at the target, not the dot. Superimpose the dot over the taget and pull the trigger. Only time you want to look at the dot is targets that are 20 yards plus possibly. Like a plate rack or something hard to hit. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  24. That gun looks awesome. I'm curious to see the new version. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
  25. The Sig X5 is up there with anything out there. If I were getting a new CO gun that would be my choice. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
