  1. I 2nd Freedom. Never had any issues with them making 172-173 at matches (glock 35). Used the HP and FP.
  2. I’m running an 8# in my 5” Limcat perfect sight. Runs great and super flat.
  3. I actually have a 2011 both with a 9mm and 40 cal upper up on the classifieds. I really liked running the 9mm for falling steel for the lighter recoil and higher capacity. then run the 40 for uspsa limited.
  4. I was shooting the perfect sight but have moved to the tracker for matches. It has just a better feel for me. I think that I also transistion a bit quicker with it also. My hand gets pretty ripped up if it is a bigger match or longer practice session with the aggressive grip but <200 round count matches are easy.
  5. I have thought about putting the limcat magwell on it which would add a few ounces over the DP one that is currently on there but I kinda like it as it is for now.
  6. I have picked up 2 Limcats over the last few months. They are great guns and they stand behind them. a 5” limcat perfect sight with the older version of steel grip. Not actually a hbar but weighs in at 51.5 oz. it is pretty flat shooting but the grip isn’t quite grippy enough for me. It is very controllable though. I also have a 5” wildcat tracker with PT aggressive grip. It shreds my weak hand after a few hundred rounds so I’m still building calluses. Have thought about getting it filed down just a bit. This thing shoots OMG amazing! It is one of the flattest shooting pistols I’ve ever shot. It weighs in at around 46 oz.
  7. I like looking at the 1st target with it out of focus. I find that it helps with picking up the sights better.
  8. +1 on getting the MBF. I just got one during the 4th of July sale and love it. So much better than manually setting the bullet.
  9. I bought a 2011 off a member here with both 40/9mm uppers. Use the 40 for USPSA and the 9mm for falling steel for the extra capacity on large stages. I dig just swapping slides and mags and have it have almost the same feel.
  10. I just got a 2nd test bag of 180s from EM to test their .400 vs .401 and not sure how I feel about their coating. It seems very inconsistent quality based on color. Sometimes clumpy/streaky. They seem to shoot ok and about the same as blue/black but I do wish the finish was a bit better. I really want to like the purple ones. Bag #1 .401 white - coating scratched all to hell down to lead while shipping blue and red - no scratching. A bit clumpy/streaky bag 2 .400 Purple - a fair number with nicks down to lead (5% or so). Coating doesn’t seem as durable. green - few with some scratching. coating a bit clumpy/streaky in spots blue and red - no scratching. A bit clumpy/streaky
  11. Does anyone still make a heavy magwell for 2011s? Want to add a bit more weight to the heel but not ready to toss on a steel grip. Haven’t been able to find anyone making one.
  12. I run TTI GM kit with Overwatch Precision TAC trigger in my gen 3 35 and gen 4 34. I really dig the flat blade trigger.
  13. They can relieve the frame but what I found was that the locking mechanism for the one gives a weird draw unless you have the muzzle secured and pushing the whole frame out a bit. The little plastic adjustment pin would push it out enough but would snag on the weight. What I was working on was cutting a piece of angled aluminum and basically making my own muzzle support that is longer than the stock one and mounting it in the back side slot of the frame since you would be cutting out the front channel that the existing muzzle support fits in. It is a pita with hack saw and files.. Not very pretty either. lol.
  14. That is weird.. I had called SJC a while back and they said they only did the Ultimate. That is what started me on modding mine. Their site even says it. The SJC Frame weight hangs down below the accessory rail of your pistol, causing inadequate clearance issues with some holsters. This in shop service disassembles your Ghost super ultimate holster (you must mail to us). fills much of the hollow void in the holster body with resin, reassembles and then machines the holster to allow clearance for the SJC frame weight. Shipping is added at check out. This will not work on the ghost the one holster
  15. Do you have a ghost ultimate? If so, it has a different locking mechanism than "The One" (a stainless ball vs a weird angled one that limits the angle that the gun can be drawn). SJC mods the ultimate only if I recall.
  16. I never finished it. I cut an aluminum angle piece down to slide into the groove on the back side of the holster vs the front but never made it to my brothers to use his drill press to make the mounting holes. I’ll try to finish it. It is literally drilling 2 holes and screwing it together at this point.
  17. I run TTIs on my 35 and 34 and really like them. Not sure how how you will be using it. are you ever going to put a magwell on it? They work with a lot of them without issue but had to cut a relief into my zev heavy magwell (or trim the pin).
  18. I’ve only used the TTIs but they work well and are easy to take apart and clean in dirty environments.
  19. I really love the TTI stipple jobs. It is a good grip without ripping your hands to shreds. I couldn’t wait the 2 months and did my limited gun myself. If you can spare the time, just send it off to them. You won’t regret it.
  20. I really like the TTIs. Use them on CO and LTD.
  21. The ghost ultimate is the one that SJC will mod. I'll be posting a a thread once I am done with modding my Ghost One. It probably won't be pretty but it should be functional.
  22. Here is a thread that has some good info if you haven't seen it.
  23. i haven't seen anyone mention that SJC will mod a ghost ultimate holster for $120. It is an option if you don't want to mess around with modding yourself. I found it tough to justify $250 for a holster.
