  1. yep, definetly a Vanek trigger. And IMO the Grams basepad kits (+5), plus his tuning, is the best way to spend money on our Glock magazines. In my G20 I reliably & always get 20 rounds of .40 in the mag and am never scared to have 21 with one in the pipe. Always works. I don't know how many rounds a G35 hi-cap mag holds, but I can only assume you could get at least 20 rounds in them with one of Grams +5 kits. good luck
  2. Dawson fiber optis sights KKM barrel Grams basepads (the best) Vanek trigger some kind of magwell that works for you nuff said good luck
  3. your skill level will determine first how it will hurt you. Second, if you build one out a Glock 21 (.45ACP) you can get 18+1. 13 round hi-cap mags, Grams +5 basepad kit makes 18 rounds, plus one in the pipe. good luck

    Glock Magwells

ryucasta, I just sent one of my large frame mags with a Grams basepad To NHO to see if their magwell with work with it. Tom had mentioned he hadn't tried a Grams basepad with his new large frame magwells yet. I'll let you know what he finds out.
  5. could be guide rod if you are not running the factory plastic one. Talked w/Beven once about that subject. good luck
  6. www.competitionbrass.com once fired, roll sized and cleaned brass, it was $32/1000 for .40 last time I ordered it a few months back that includes shipping too
  7. realizing there is a big difference between our Glocks and the 2011 model of pistols, but most who reload with the 2011's load there .40's long.
  8. .40 180gr tc lead OAL= 1.200-1.206 (I use a Lee Pro 1000) 4.7gr VN320 I buy the bullets from a friend of mine I shoot with on a regular basis. I chrono them out in between 167-171PF. At Area 6 last month the PF was 168. Area 8 last summer was 171PF I think. I have thought about tinkering with the powder amount just a tad to get it even closer to 165PF, but I'm close enough as it is. If it ain't broke, don't fix it Please of course don't go by my PF numbers, test them yourself too. Good luck
  9. thanks for the advice but I never plan on shooting 10mm through it. It is strictly my Limited gun chambered in .40.
  10. same "setup" as coltgov and flexmoney mentioned. I use the 20C slide, works flawlessly. I actually plan in the future to get some slide lightening done to it also. Darn Glock slides are so heavy.
  11. allright, another large frame convert. welcome to the club! you should look into getting the slide lightened also. I've got a pretty reliable load for this setup, just ask and I will post it. good luck
  12. if you are looking for a Caspian Limited gun you should check out this on the USPSA classified site, Millenium custom Caspian 40 limited - $2700.00 - (ad #8402) Edited to remove advertisers name and personal information.
  13. even better yet, why not a G20c for limited w/a kkm barrel (or whatever brand you like) chambered in .40
  14. no magwell but rather a Brass Seattle Slug here

    Glock 20/40

how did Ben's magwell fit?? it looks like it is brass
  16. You can use the "C" model in limited, but only the slide. The barrel would have to be non-ported for Limited

    Glock 20 Mags

Sorry, I don't know what a grip reduction does to the mags but my only recommendation is to contact Beven Grams at Grams Engineering. He just put one of his +5 basepad kits on a g20 mag for me (I now have two) and they both RELIABLY hold 20 rounds each, 21 with one on the pipe. I shoot a G20 in limited also. However, there is a chance he may not have any gen3 mag basepads left if that is what you have as I think I may have purchased his last one. He is in the middle of redesigning his basepads for the gen4 glaock mags as apparantly glock made some changes to the newer mags that causes his basepads not to work as flawlessly as the one I currently have on the gen3 mags good luck

    G20/21 Magwells

From what I can tell there are not many manufacturers of a large frame (G20/21) magwell. It appears as though only Glockmeister makes one for the large frame. I am definetly not opposed to buying anything from Ben, I just want to know all the options out there. Dawson's ICE might, I just haven't had success confirming that yet. If you know of another manufacturer of magwells for LARGE frame Glocks I would very much appreciate it and if you could reply with their name and even better a website. Thanks everyone.
  19. 40S&W .180 lead/teflon coated 1.200 OAL 4.7 Gr N320 Federal Primers 171 PF (verified at Area 8 last year, about 95 degrees and very humid) I plan on dropping a grain or two of powder to get closer to 165PF.
  20. great, I'll give you a call, thanks
  21. Flexmoney, so are you saying that you have seen 170mm large frame mags?? if yes please tell me where. thanks
  22. I have one of the GE +5's on my G20 hi-cap mag that I shoot long .40 out of. Have always reliably gotten 20 rounds in the mag and one on the pipe if needed. The problem I am trying to figure out is how to get a 170mm mag for the large frame Glock so I can build an open gun project that will have about or at least a 25 round capacity. If anyone has any reliable info about that question I sure would appreciate it. Here is what I have found out so far: Bevin does not have anything Robin Taylor claims making a larger extension (+8 to +10) would be a piece of cake, the problem is finding a spring that won't collapse. ISMI told me to try one of their 170mm Para springs if I could find a larger basepad. Anyone else??
  23. Have a Vanek trigger on my G20 .40 limited gun, love it
  24. I am shooting Limited with a G20 and kkm .40 barrel and I couldn't be more happy with it. I find the smaller frame Glocks uncomfortable to hold so this was a natural fit after shooting my G21 originally in Limited 10. I am so comfortable with it I am trying to assemble the necessary parts to build an open gun using the large frame in .40. My 10mm mags feed no problem either, I am loading .40 180 to 1.20 or 1.220 length. I can't remember sitting here which length it is. PF is around 167-169
