  1. After three years I changed it out to offset the weight of the new red dot. I probably wouldn't call that "constantly changing parts" but you might. I guess that depends on how hurt your feelings are. Practice more, complain about grips less.
  2. I would rather not hold aluminum if possible, and since it's your money, I'd choose steel.
  3. Have you guys tried practicing? That seems to help more than constantly changing parts
  4. I believe there is a report in the Sig 320 class action lawsuit of a 320 going off while in a locker. The video above is the first footage of a 320 going off without the trigger being pulled. There's footage of someone at a range that starts after the discharge in the presence of an RO but no footage of the discharge itself. Until now there's always been some plausible deniability.
  5. My TSO trigger is 10 ounces and my CM is a little over 1 pound. They don't feel as light as they are and I've never had a problem related to the pull weight. I would not want a sub 1lb straight pull trigger though.
  6. The question should probably be "How much do you trust other people's 1911/2011?". The platform can be made reliable but I see more 1911/2011 failures than any other type of pistol. Off the shelf 1911/2011 often don't run right, custom guns often don't stay running right.
  7. I shot a match a while back, two 1911 shooters on my squad were sharing a mag catch.
  8. So two back up guns minimum to avoid Two guys, One gun?
  9. I have one in a 4th Gen. It's not a bad trigger but not great either. I think you can piece it together for half the price. I have since changed the connector to something else (don't remember which, I swapped around 5 or 6).
  10. But what if your back up gun goes down?
  11. They are not the same. CZ75 and S1 pins are shorter. The CM/TS/S2 pins can be shortened. Technically they'll fit in a S1 but will stick out the left side.
  12. I broke a forged pin I made for a TSO. It took 15k rounds.
  13. The CM pins are in stock in Europe. I've been buying from IPSC store lately, shipping takes maybe 10 days, and is pretty close to the price in the states. There's instructions on the forums how to make your own also. https://seboweapons.com/en/cz-75-ts-ts-orange-and-czechmate/444-slide-stop-pin-ts-shadow-2.html?search_query=slide+stop+pin&results=88 Here's the CZ75 pins (ET-130038) in stock: https://www.ipscstore.com/en/sport-guns-et-parts/6856-eemann-tech-pin-for-cz-75.html https://www.ericgrauffelonlineshop.com/fr/eemann-tech/1436-eemann-pin-for-cz-75--9384045007530.html IPSC Store lists parts as on customs docs as sporting goods, if that matters to you.
  14. I wonder if the Toni System mount would be lower? I can't tell from the pictures. https://www.shootersconnectionstore.com/Optics-Mounts/Mounts-Plates/Doctor-Viper-Venom-Burris-FF2FF3/TONI-SYSTEM-Red-dot-dovetail-base-plate-type-B-for-CZ-Tactical-Sport
  15. The CM runs minor ammo fine. LO is a better alternative if you're stuck with minor.
  16. 24rd with Springer extension and CZC spring/follower.
  17. Toni System makes good quality parts. They are Italian and primarily IPSC centered. I've ordered their parts from Europe and I'd probably take them over EGW based on my previous experience with EGW.
  18. You only need to change the trigger shoe to a TS trigger. Don't take any of the other double action parts out. https://www.armorycraft.com/cz-adjustable-triggers

    TS Orange 40 mags

CZ probably hunted through a stack of magazines until they found three that dropped free and shipped them together. The real issue is the coating inside of the lower magazine opening in the frame. The coating CZ puts on the gun is thick and reduced the opening size. I have had to remove the coating to make all of my mags drop free.

    That new TS2

    I have a 9mm barrel for my 40 TSO.
  21. George16 gave you the correct information all along. It is a magazine issue.

    TS2

CZ should offer a TS2 duty weapon. Rail on the dust cover and slide cut for a MRD. It would compete with the STI Stacatto.
