  1. about grips (I can't find it) We had a discussion about grips a long time ago....I can't find that thread. So here is the scenario.... Shot a USPSA match today with my Gold Team 38 SC (first time out with it in a LONG time) It has the factory grips on it, I added skateboard tape on the inserts. I have small midget sized hands (which would make you think I would love the original factory grips) but it is too small. My opinion of the perfect grips...the P-Match, those little diamonds just feel right and are really grippy. More info....on my Glock's I go with Talon's skateboard tape grips. So I am looking for something ...aggressive that will allow me to really lock-into the gun. Ideas...thoughts...opinions....?
  2. Large Frame vs Small Frame....advantages and disadvantages.
  3. Hi Everyone.... Been out of the game for a while, I've been busy ejecting from the recent liberal taken over of Colorado and moving to Tucson. I have looked through the pages here and have not seen what happened with the IFG LimPro. Did it finally come to market? If so what price? Can someone bring me up to speed. Thanks
  4. I have the steel frame Elite 1911 WARNING.....this is one of the first times you will hear me say something not good about a Tanfoglio. - The overall look of the gun is very good. (until you look close up....the bluing on the slide is rather "blotchy" and flat (unlike the Stock 3) - The trigger is HORRIBLE ! Frankly it is on par with their poly frame 1911 or a basic Para. - Barrel....well when you look at a TF Stock 2 or Limited barrel....they look well made...the 1911 barrel...well..it just does not seem of TF quality. - I comes in a really crappy case. So I am thinking about getting a trigger job done on it and a new barrel and bushing. (might get the slide re-blued) TF needs to step up their game on the steel frame 1911.
  5. Atlas.....you are killing me with that picture. I love the look of that one. You do some AMAZING custom work....Wish it was mine.
  6. Exactly what John said. Make sure you are seating the primer up against the anvil in the case. (I know because I have been there)
  7. Funny thing is the P-Match is the one I shoot the most. Just something about the way it fits my hands and the sight picture. You can drive nails with all of them...but the P-Match ...there is something about it.
  8. Well...I have never publish a picture of them...hope this does not bite me in the butt..you could say I have a thing for Tanfo's

  10. WOOT WOOT !!!! THAT IS NEWS I WANT TO HEAR !!!
  11. LPA dropped right in. Nice Fit. No big deal. Love the gun now that I can sight it correctly. BTW: Originally when I found the factory sights did now work for me, I decided to make it a carry optic. Bought the mount from EGW, but when I tried to install it, if found the radius on the top of the slide made it impossible. That is when I decided to install the LPA.
  12. Love mine. But even though the rear sights look sexy....had problem with getting consistent groups. Loved it more after I changed out the rear sight to the standard LPA Tanfo adjustable and a fiber front sight.
  13. Tried to order a MBX Mini last night..........DENIED !!!! The will not ship to Colorado.
  14. Looking for recommendations for Mag Extensions for my Glock 33rd mags and while I'm at it, recommendations for an AR-9 magwell. Thanks
  15. Got my holster from James Jones at https://jandlgunsmithing.com/ FANTASTIC holster.
  16. I absolutely LOVE mine. I feel strange saying this about a poly gun....but it is one of my favorite Tanfoglio's. Mainly because of the accuracy, how it fits my hands and the grips are the best I have ever had...I can really lock my hands in on it. I makes up for the fact that I am blind in one eye and can't see out the other and had arthritis in both my hands. (picture is the first string of shots right out of the box before adjusting the sights)
  17. Heard one of the distributors got some 9mm Stock 2's in today.
  18. For my Gold Team I use the Ghost "The One" holster, I like it very much.
  19. $593 OTD is a smoking good deal. Congrats
  20. Wasn't trying to fool anyone. I am not an FFL so I have nothing to sell. I am just lucky enough to get to peek behind the curtain and see what some of the distributors have in inventory. Just letting you know what I saw out there.....That's All. But BTW....frankly ...for me...I kinda like 38 Super.
  21. I see a lot of activity on the forum of people looking for Stock II's. The bad news....there no Stock ll's in 9mm to be found. And my best guess is you probably will not see any till then end of April (based on past years) This is because of Tanfoglio's schedule and the time it take for a container to get across the Atlantic....so on and so on. BUT the good news is .... If you can live with a 38 Super .....there are distributors that have them in stock. I am looking right now at a distributor that who has 7 of them in stock right now. Maybe get some starline brass and load to minor....or maybe re-barrel to 9mm..... Or...go with the Stock 1. Just a thought......
  22. That is good news. The sad part is most everyone is overlooking the Stock 1. Frankly....I like it better than my Stock II.
  23. I vote for Hard Chrome. My ONLY complaint with my Stock 1 and Stock 3.....the bluing not what I expected for an elite gun.
  24. I have a LimPro in .40 want one in 9mm to go with it.
  25. The cost of stocking small frame mags is one thing....but if you live in a state like Colorado where there is a 15 round limit....EAA will NOT ship them here....frankly it is a pain in the butt to get mags for 9mm and 38 Super.
