  1. Obviously my post was about a mythical perfect scenario, but wouldn't the Gamer CO gun be a 85 Combat? Does the 85 Combat have the larger magwel?I'm actually liking the lighter gun, but want the magwell and trigger of the Shadow. Does the Shadow lite have the larger magwell of the SP-01? I will let you know if my 85 Combat will work in about a week, waiting on the machine to finish milling the slide for the DeltaPoint Pro Will definitely be interested. Curious about the Pro on the slide. Its wider than the older model. We've milled SP-01 slides and CZ 97 slides for PRO's. They sure look funny on the slim CZ slides, but can be done. 85 would be doable. 97: SP-01:

Before and after: Had to strip the spray paint off the frame, milled some slide cuts, added some Dawson Precision sights, then finished in our in-house black phosphate. (Still has heavy oil in the corners and all from after being phosphated.) Some others that got phosphated yesterday. Glock 34 with some major slide lightening and stippled the grip, a Glock 21 we milled for an RMR and added front cocking serrations, and the ugly duck Glock 23 we transformed.:
  3. It would definitely be too wide for the 43 slide. You could make it work, but it would look pretty goofy. Damn it, now I wish someone would send us a 43 slide they want milled for a red dot just to do it. lol
  4. They can all fail. Bottom line. I've seen every popular optic out there fail. RMR's are not exempt because they come out of the mythical Trijicon factory and have Trijicon's expensive price tag on it.
  5. Yet another MOS fail. The MOS is just not an attractive option IMO. You come out around the same cost if you just have your slide milled. It looks much better too. And you don't have to worry about Glock failing to give proper mounting screws, failing on the adapter plates, etc.
  6. About 7-8 months ago, I called KKM with a problem I was having with a Zev Glock 24. It had a 40 barrel marked KKM and a 9mm barrel marked ZEV. The rep I was talking to informed me at that time, KKM was not making barrels for Zev. Hm, perhaps they aren't. KKM rep might not have been at liberty to say they were making them as well. That's an industry standard for the most part when companies contract other companies to manufacture parts for them.
  7. I could be wrong, but aren't Zev's barrels made by KKM?
  8. SP-01 and 97B we milled for DP Pros.
  9. If you're going to mill the slide, any gun that makes weight bone stock would make weight after milling and adding optic.
  10. Eh, MOS isn't worth it.No suppressor sights, half the screws included aren't correct, it isn't milled very deep, doesn't look as good as a custom milled slide. You can buy a regular Gen 3 or 4 Glock and have it custom milled and finished for around what a MOS Glock runs.
  11. It's not a competition trigger. Aside from removing a little pre travel, it's just a polished OEM trigger bar and a polished OEM minus connector. Nothing to spend $150 on.
  12. It doesn't take any longer to mill one slide than another slide...and we've milled just bout all of em. lol
  13. I'm glad it's all running well for you after the string of bad luck with optics!

I haven't been able to shoot one yet, but the ones we've milled slides for seem very, very nice and robust.
  15. Companies can say what they want, but not really. You're only going to get marginal accuracy increase over a factory barrel with a 100% drop in barrel that requires no fitment. The fitment is where you get the increase in accuracy, so you can't expect much over factory out of something that won't require any. My point is they can't get tolerances much tighter than factory barrel in order to guarantee that it is 100% drop in in any gun.
  16. Alright, tell us about the anchor? Lol, A customer of ours who works for a diving company found it off the coast of Louisiana in the GoM. Apparently it's a Nazi German anchor.
  17. http://r3l3ntl3ss.imgur.com/all/ A very small portion of some we've done.
  18. The FF III is easily the most popular optic we mill slides for. They hold up very, very well and we know of people are literally in the tens of thousands of rounds on the same slide mounted optic and still going.
  19. Looks good! Another mk7 I see. Did the Cerakote cause any issues with the rotating barrel going into battery? He didn't say. It wouldn't be unusual though. On guns with tighter tolerances, you'll often have to hand work the slide a bit to get parts jiving together as they should after cerakote. We see it with a lot of guns we do.
  20. Here's another one we did. This one got cerakoted black after. Image removed.

Customer Glock 22 we cut for a Leupold Deltapoint PRO, added front cocking serrations, then phosphated the slide.
  22. Jeez man! Sorry to hear that! Hopefully Burris gets you back up and going soon!
  23. Thanks. A couple of the shop guys didn't care for the laser engraving on the grips. But the owner of the gun worked for Blackwater for a long time and well, anyone familiar with Blackwater knows they associate themselves with the Knights Templar, hence why he wanted that shield.
  24. Back together after coating.
