  1. You do know that David at Cajun Gun Works can and will do much, much more than just trigger work, right? lol Out of curiosity, what are you looking to get done?
  2. DANG!!! I zero'd it saturday. Blowing out bulls eyes at 15 yards is just way too easy...
  3. FF III and P-09 is a super fun setup.
  4. Any idea what the CZ weighs with the milled out slide and scope (+ empty magazine) ?If I remember I'll get a weight on the shop scale monday. On another note I put 300 rounds through it today. Zero malfunctions even with 50 rounds of Tula. Shooting this gun with the Fastfire III is just cheating. Blowing out bulls eyes at 15 yards is just a piece of cake.
  5. Me and my brother in law. He owns a CNC machine shop and does firearm work on the side. We will probably be a forum sponsor here soon.
  6. We did some more lightening today. Didn't think to snap a pic before packaging it up to send off to our coater for cerakote. Guess the next pic will be when it's all done.
  7. Been noticing people across several forums inquiring about having CZ P series guns milled for red dots. There's not a whole lot out there to be found on it for these guns, but it can be done! This one's got some more time to spend in the CNC to achieve it's weight loss goals, but she's coming around.
  8. I am just beginning to get into the red dot/reflex dots on pistols game, and I'm quickly seeing that all of them can and will fail. If you look hard enough you'll find good and bad reviews on them all - including the one that's supposed to be the best of all, the RMR.
  9. Yeah I could see how it being lighter would help. The slide on the P-09 will be milled for all the bosses too so it'll be very strong.
  10. Got the Fastfire III in today. My initial impression is that it seems to be well made and quite nice for its price point. Honestly it feels better and more sturdy in the hand than the Deltapoint. I realize that's probably because the Deltapoint is made of magnesium which is much lighter than the steel (I guess it's steel) that the Fastfire III is made of, but still. P-09 will be getting milled for it probably over the weekend, so I'll have some pics up once that's done. Thinking about possibly doing some lightening on the slide as well since it'll already be jigged up in the CNC anyway. Probably just a top cut similar to how Glock 34's and 35's come from the factory. I'll have a local guy cerakote it after. Color suggestions? Frame will still be black. I'm kinda leaning towards one of the sand colors.
  11. The P series was designed around the idea of being a gun that would be carried, hence the smaller beaver tail. I find it to be sufficient though.
  12. Cool man, thanks for the tip. If you go to the cz forums and look at this thread: http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=66147.0'>http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=66147.0 David shows how much you should bend the spring down.
  13. Around 11-13lbs is what I've seen a lot of people run in SP-01's.
  14. Yep, I've used Joe's vids a couple times. His disassembly vid is what convinced me "ok, I can do the P Series upgrades myself." Lol
  15. Thanks. I came across that thread, but after the trigger bar he never finished lol. I think it is a work in progress of a very busy guy. Yea, unfortunately the thread ended at the trigger bar. David stays insanely busy. Eventually he'll probably finish it. lol
  16. Thanks. I came across that thread, but after the trigger bar he never finished lol.
  17. I think it's the same trigger system as the Omegas but I'm not sure.
  18. Anyone know of a thread/writeup or even better, a video, showing what areas to polish on the P-07 and P-09 trigger system? I know the trigger bar needs attention, but I know there's many other areas that can be hit as well that will make a giant difference on helping the DA pull. I already have the CGW spring kit, SRS, hammer, oversized roller, and a couple other things on the way for it. (All the parts in the pro grade kit.)
  19. I take it you've never heard of a company called Cajun Gun Works?
