  1. With a 9mm 2011, is there a downside to going as light as will function with recoil springs? Will it shorten the life of the slide or frame considerably? After lots of testing I settled on a much lighter recoil spring than factory in my Staccato P. I love the recoil impulse and never had a malfunction because of the recoil spring.
  2. I have a BC magwell on my Gen 2 P. It has a tiny bit of wiggle at the front of the grip that can be resolved if you feel the need to but I haven’t don’t anything with it.
  3. The recoil spring is pretty stout. I’m currently using an 8lb. Stock is 13 and the blue one it comes with is 11lb
  4. Same for me and nothing back. I emailed back saying yes, but now wish I wouldn't have learning that it can't be used it bright sunlight. I'll send another to hopefully stay with the original order.
  5. There is a difference and it's larger than your photos make it appear because of the angle you took the photo. Even with the angle you used the difference is still obvious. I have the same KKM barrel. When I had my mini kaboom with the p320, the case was blown out in the small space that is not supported on the factory barrel. Also, it's not just the bottom of the case that isn't supported, it's the diameter in the chamber as well (at least in my examples). If I stick a round in the factory barrel there is lateral movement. The round will wiggle. No such thing with the KKM, it has much tighter tolerances.
  6. Yup. I'm not even reloading now. It's not cost effective when I factor in time. Plus you are getting plated bullets vs. coated lead which I was using.
  7. Why can’t it be both. Yes people are using reloads when it happens but why does it seem to happen more frequently with sig? is it possible there wouldn’t have been an issue if the reloads were used in a different gun due to the comparatively unsupported chamber? That’s my hypothesis anyways.
  8. I had something similar, also caught on video, that blew off my extractor. The bottom of the case blew out. I feel much better about the kkm barrel that I put in after that. To say The factory barrel is unsupported is generous. My rounds wiggle in the chamber. No such movement in the kkm.
  9. Knuckle clearance on the support side or strong side?
  10. I'm using it. With current primer pricing it's not much more to pay for their ammo than it is to make it. I'm running the 124s in a 2011.
  11. That was going to be my first try but I can’t find it anywhere!
  12. There are a few options out there and I’m looking for recommendations for/against any. putting it on a staccato P.
  13. The MBX 170mm has been flawless through 15 or so practice sessions and a match.
  14. DAA flex and henning mag pouches. It expensive but it’s the buy once cry once solution.
  15. It's not fitted to the barrel but USPSA still considers it a comp. I asked Troy about the macro which uses the same technology and he said it's not CO eligible.
  16. The description of the problem is vague but this same thing happened to me during a match. It was the trigger return spring. I put a new one in it and the problem was fixed. I was using a grey guns kit and they told me it needed to be replaced every 2,500 rounds. I had 5,000+ live through it and can't even count how many dry reps.
  17. I have had. a couple pair. I don't think it's worth the upgrade over regular disposable plugs.
  18. I ended up getting an MBX 170. No issues through it yet after two range sessions. Also got MBX and Atlas 140s to test. I'll run open minor until LO is allowed. The Atlas mags were quite a bit less than MBX so I'm hoping the work.
  19. If the provisional division passes when will people be able to shoot matches in LO? Do they hold nats for provisional divisions?
  20. How did you get that mag release setup?
  21. I had a trigger return spring fail during a match. It was better to switch to a backup gun than try and replace during a match but it's doable if you've done it before. I keep trigger return springs and sear springs. The gray guns ones have a much shorter life if you are dry firing a lot.
