  1. Will there be over insertion issues with the MBX 140mm also? Looks like the staccato 140mm only holds 21 rounds vs 24 with the MBX.

    Too much?

I tried the Align Tactical one and I did notice a slight difference but I found myself having to tweak my grip too much to make it work. I was having to rotate my wrist a little further forward than was comfortable. But these new ones don't seem like that would be an issue. The Tevo might work with my holster since it sits further back.
  3. Thanks. I priced out an AXG conversion kit and it's basically the cost of the entire gun with the FCU. I was debating trying the axg lower with my x5 5" upper but I hadn't heard any reports on it.

    Too much?

Ya good catch. I looked closer and it wouldn't work. Not willing to buy an entirely new holster and/or hanger to try it out. I need to remind myself that top level CO guys don't use 'em and Nils won with a Canik.... LOL

    Too much?

I’m intrigued. The Tevo seems so far back. I’d be curious for someone to compare the two. Also wonder how much modification I’d have to do to my Gx holster.
  6. Are you running the axg pro 4.7” slide?
  7. Stonebridge gun works supposedly has a 24+1 p320 mag that’s legal.

    P320 grip work

Agree with others just do it yourself. It won’t look as good but it will be just as functional. A dremel, some epoxy and silicon carbide is all you need.
  9. Thank you. I was having trouble finding any in stock on a google search. I looked through my parts drawer and found one I had apparently purchased awhile back! This spring was definitely the culprit. It was completely mangled. new on left, old on right. Now that I replaced it, it passes the test. The spring is tiny. I’m not really sure what the life of one is but it can’t be very high. There is no compression left in mine at all. It’s a mangled mess.
  10. Found this video I just checked my pistol and the striker does stay protruded. I have dry fire this gun a lot. So maybe this is why the striker is sticking out in the other test. I’ll have to order a new spring and see if that fixes it. Gun functions fine tho with live ammo.
  11. Edit to clarify:Doing the test in the video after pulling the trigger the striker drops and is past the second ledge of the sear. But when I push in on the striker assembly there is no click and the trigger is just mush. Also if I take out the barrel the firing pin protruded through the breechface like in the last test in the video. Originally I did it with GG kit with armory craft trigger and it failed. So I tried again with the GG trigger and kit and it still failed. Not sure what else to try?
  12. I just did this test with my p320 w/ grayguns trigger kit and it failed. Wow.
  13. He also said on Reddit one witness filled out a written statement backing up that it was in the holster but it contains enough personal info that it would doxx him and he doesn’t want to do that. If these accounts of guns going off in holsters are true There’s always going to be holes in the story so that people can find issue with them. personally, I’ve heard enough of them that I’m starting to believe where there’s smoke there is fire. Enough so that I’m switching platforms from the p320 x5 legion. from watching the sig mechanics video it seems that the breakage of the firing pin safety tab spring in combination with the sear slipping off could cause the gun to AD. The 2019 redesign seems to have fixed the sear issue. But These types of things require multiple failures. Is it probable? No. Is it possible? It seems to me yes. Even if it is a tiny chance, there’s lots of other platforms where the chance is 0%.
  14. He has clarified. The gun was in the holster resting with his hand off the gun. There are witnesses that back up his statement.
  15. Paraphrasing but Jake Martens mentioned they have been talking to manufacturers about changes to divisions.
  16. Agreed on 170. There’s a lot of chatter. But no one knows what the board thinks except for the one slip up. It’s all just opinions at this point.
  17. You don’t think a new or changed division is coming?
  18. Please report back. I’m looking at doing the same in prep for them being made legal.
  19. Mason Lane claims .356s blue are more accurate so I’ve just followed his advice lol
  20. Yes. Although older legions have a slightly different trigger bar but the newer ones swap out with no issues.

    x5 legion

There’s slight differences to the cuts underneath and the size of the silver ramp (not sure what the name is).
  22. I looked on their website this week and there’s only a few pistols available and the shadow 2 is no longer one of them. The dealers list is very small now and my local one is no longer on the list. Something for sure has changed.
  23. Pretty much this for me also. How floppy it was in rotation led to inconsistent draws for me. There’s just too much movement with the belt.
