  1. I’ve attached a picture of how it’s fits in a gx holster. Plenty of room. Also it’s not going to offer any advantage on unloaded starts like the picture shows on the website if you own a legion. This is what happens in reality. Even without the weighted mag in there it doesn’t prop it up because the gun is not heavy enough forward of the lever.
  2. Why does the forum change the name of “g o g u n s” to *thumb rest generic*
  3. I’ve only used it in dry fire so far but it’s very promising. I disliked the *thumb rest [generic]* lever. I’m shooting it live tomorrow so we will see if it translates.
  4. I picked up the thumb rest (maybe it needs it’s own thread). I can also confirm it works with the gx holster without and sanding necessary.
  5. Does it catch on the draw at all? That's very good news if not!
  6. I measured and I don’t think it will work with the GX products holster so I’m likely out on it.
  7. With the Springer mag release I would engage it on the draw and the mag would fly out. This one is perfect. has anyone gotten their hands on the takedown lever?
  8. Some say it does in the P320 legion so I was curious.
  9. Were they .355 or .356 diameter?
  10. I’ve read some of the older threads but wondered what people are using these days. I’ve had really good results out of my legion and 125 grn blue bullets with 3.7 grns of titegroup. However, I recently got a lot of coated 147s. Anyone willing to share load data and PF?
  11. Can’t speak for Casey’s stuff but I’ve had the other two. Tom has put a lot of work into his and there is short term value in his program but PTSG is on another level. It’s been around longer and has many people producing content. You can’t get through all the videos. I’ve also tried Max Michels program and found it to be excellent. Additionally, I tried Steve Andersons online program. It was in its infancy but I found it to be quite mobile unfriendly and didn’t find the value in it.
  12. But will it fit in any holsters. These gas pedals are cool, yet if they only work in open style holsters their not useful in uspsa.
  13. I have one and prefer it to the springer. I found that I would engage the springer on the draw and several times drew with a gun and the mag released on presentation. It’ll be mandatory on any p320 I have. I don’t have to move my hands to engage the reload.
  14. Thanks! after initial testing I decided the thumb rest is not for me. It requires me to use a different grip and I’m not sure the benefit is worth the reps necessary to train that in.
  15. So I picked one of these up only to find out it recommends NOT using a tungsten guide rod and a minimum 14lb spring. But that’s with “normal” loads. Does anyone have long term use running at 12 lb spring with hand loads?
  16. Pretty sweet and I'd be willing to purchase one but I'd like to know if it will even work in any current holsters?
  17. Now apply that concept to your dry and live Fire plan. Bullseye stuff has a purpose but if you want to get better at USPSA you need to be practicing live shooting at speed and pushing your speed beyond your comfort level at times. It’s the only way to get faster. As Steve says you’ll never know what it’s like to shoot fast until you start shooting fast. Consider adding some bill drills and doubles to your live regimen. You can shoot doubles at an indoor range if you don’t have access to an outdoor range. You will find it more applicable to USPSA than shooting bullseye and tactical standards repetitively.
  18. I’m asking so I kindly adhere to their regulations. I know I can pour it down the drain or in my yard but that it’s not allowed or good for the environment so hoping someone else has a solution.
  19. Does anyone have a process that makes the leftover lead filled liquid that remains after tumbling safe to dispose of either down the drain or in the ground?
  20. Did you get the percussive ones that are made for shooting?
  21. What’s out there for non electronic in-ear protection? Looking for something that’s reusable and I won’t need to double plug with over the ear protection.
  22. Well it turns out that these don't work so well with the p320 mags. Guess I need to buy a washer or something. None of the spacers fit. Either too tight or too loose.
  23. Will the CR speed versa pouches work on a DAA premium belt?
