  1. What crimp die do you recommend? I have the Lee fcd and Dillon
  2. What else would I use it for other than crimp? I’m not sure I’m following? This most recent time I chronoed I was freestyle without a rest just shooting into a berm. So you may be on to something!
  3. I’ll try being more consistent on my pulls. I’m using the mbf powder funnel and will check about overbelling
  4. It is a fcd. Is there something wrong with the fcd?
  5. Ya mixed brass. Cci small pistol primers. All Dillon dies except for the crimp die which is Lee on a Dillon 750
  6. I finally picked up a chrono but was surprised to see how much variance I had in a ten round test. I’m wondering if my crimp needs adjusted. All rounds passed case gauge. 127 conical brass monkey bullets over 3.6 TG. 1.150 oal. Shot out of a x5 legion.
  7. The chamber is supported and much tighter than factory. Rounds jiggle in my factory barrels. 147s I was loading around 1.125 124s I am loading at 1.15 but 1.16 spun freely. Crimped at .77-.78
  8. I’d rather know pure mechanical accuracy. The human element adds variances. Even if it is out of a fixture I haven’t heard anyone else claim that level of accuracy.
  9. In an email from KKM after I inquired about their barrels.
  10. Gx products. Will have to wait but it’s worth it if you can make due.
  11. Fwiw the new KKM barrels claim a 3/4” group at 50 yards using Atlanta arms 115 grn. The lockup is much tighter than factory barrel and dropped in on my legion.
  12. What type of velocity/pf is producing the better results?
  13. Thanks all for the input. This helps a lot. now what’s everyone’s preferred most efficient way of sorting?
  14. I’m having some issues with certain headstamps in my 750 so I’m going to start sorting headstamps. These were labeled “IK21”. What are the other headstamps I should look out for.
  15. It’s not going to help with short stroking, but there is a +power trigger return spring. I am experimenting with one in my backup gun and like it. It’s a more forceful reset.
  16. I had the GG and only made it through one range session. I would’ve had to change my grip to use it properly. The align was a more natural motion.
  17. This video is worth about as much as you paid for it, but I did a comparison with and without using the Align tactical lever. There is a difference for sure. https://youtu.be/VHMr8vMdpTg I’m just a b class shooter so take my opinion as such. It does introduce some other things you will have to work through. The gun returns faster and it throws off the timing. You need to be willing to put in some serious time and rounds in live Fire. but I like it enough I’ll be buying a second for my backup gun.
  18. I did that also. Here’s the pre dremel magwell. Yes, you get about .5” by opening it up.
  19. Just go slow and you’re not going to mess it up in terms of function. It’s a tool. It may not look professional or Instagram worthy but it will be more functional. If it has a gouge in it who cares. No one expect you will likely ever see it.
  20. It’s a must for me. I remove the top ledge and part of the beaver tail. I also open up the magwell. It’s like adding an actual magwell.
  21. I think this whole thread begs the question of how much accuracy is good enough for USPSA. The correct answer is probably, "as much as I can get". But we have to balance the cost, at least most of us do. Is 3" at 25 yards good enough for USPSA? I think so. But it's a subjective answer.
