So I have a 85 combat I'm setting up for CO and wanted to touch base with you all to see what your think. Would the gun remain legal if I were to remove the rhs slide release as a way for weight reduction. No modification of the frame is required although the gun will be missing a part that is technically on the gun when approved to be on the list. Would the gun remain legal for CO and Production? I would say its comparable to removing the rhs safety and running the gun like that.

Maybe someone gave up reloading and decided to just throw the brass on the ground at the range for someone else.

So I found the problem but it seems that the tip is supposed to be blue for small primers? Dillon is sending me red ones!

Ok so I realized I was using the large primer cup. Noobe mistake I know. However once I switched to the small primer cup it started missing a primer every 8 or so. after about 100 it now won't pick up a primer. I have to jiggle the bar once extended and a primer will fall in most cases, sometimes I have to jiggle it pretty hard to get one to fall. Makes me miss my 650 which has been flawless.

Just got a used 550 and I'm having issues with the primer bar picking up a primer. I've isolated the problem to the fact that the bar isn't sliding out far enough. If I grab it after the up stroke it pops out the rest of the way by about 1/8th of an inch or so. What is the trick to fix this? I've tried bending the guide rod but it hasn't fixed it.

I have a 650 and I smash the cci primers pretty hard so my 8 lb spring will set off 199 out of 200 but while I was playing around with it I came across 20k federal primers so hopefully ill never have to mess with CCI anymore.

I have a hard time reaching my CZ trigger and if it weren't for the 4lb DA pull it would be tough. However, I can reach my stock 2 trigger with no issues; especially with the EGD grips.

It's great that leupold works with federal employees. However they STRONGLY ASK that the prices are not be released to others!

Check midsouth shooters supply and natchez shooting supply. They're both priced well. Sucks for me though because natchez wont ship to GA. BOO

It has been around a god bit lately. I got 16#'s from PV a few months ago. Really you just gotta put in the time each day to look at each of the big sites and wait for it to be in stock. Right now powders are coming back into stock pretty often.

1.135-1.140 My TS can get up to 1.160 with 180gr BBI but its iffy. But most including myself stay around 1.135-1.140 for the TS/CTS. The mags are what limit max COL

I'm trying to put a build together for Carry optics and I need to run some numbers before I spend the cash. If someone could please weight one of their mags I would be very grateful. Thanks, Matt

Anyone set up a CZ 85 Combat for Carry optics?

I don't know if my S2's are special or what but I'm able to run a Gen 4 in both and the FPB works. However, one has the extended firing block in order to work and the other just uses the factory and works. But for the life of me I cant get a t3 disco to fit correctly. I've been through 2 with no luck. I would think after fitting 4 on CZ's it would be just as easy. I wonder if running the factory hammer has anything to do with it.

I'm running the factory hammer on my S2. Is that the reason why I cant get a disco to fit correctly?

I'm sure those never even left the factory.

Ok so I attempt 2 to fit a disco to the Sock 2 has failed. How is it that I can fit one to a cz with no issues but my stock 2 has kicked my butt twice now. There has to be something that I'm missing. I filed the top of wing so It will install properly and then file the wedge until it resets as its supposed to. Although I keep having an issue where the hammer will not fall any further than just past the half cock but on occasion it will. I feel there is a part of the disco that I need to file down. Do yall usually file the front side of the wing when fitting the disco to the stock 2? It's almost as if the sear isn't able to disengage because something is blocking it. I feel like im missing something pretty obvious and its making me mad that I have now invested 80 bucks trying to fit one. I've fitted 5 CZ's with no issues

I'm able to load my xtremes to 1.150 and both of my stock 2s eat them up

I use a lee fs die so I don't see the benefit of the u die since they're basically the same.
