  1. What's worse about the P09 trigger vs the Shadows? Can't get it as light? Not as crisp?
  2. How did they come up with the Peak Times for the stages?
  3. I don't own one, but have considered buying one several times. Now I'm thinking about one for Carry Optics. I've handled them several times, but never been able to shoot it. Another thread sparked my curiosity about why we don't see more of them. I'm guessing partially it's because heavier gun is in Vogue right now. But, people seem to do well with Glock, Sig, etc that are lighter. Maybe those guys like striker fired guns more than they like heavier guns, so that's the way they go? I actually prefer DA/SA quite a bit. I heard some people mention that the design is different with the P series guns. Are they that much different to shoot than the SP-01'S? I'm just putting out feelers for the general consensus of why it might not be as good of a choice as I'd like it to be.
  4. I put one in my 22/45 and it really helped...just wasn't sure about the 15-22. Thanks.
  5. Has anyone replaced the extractor with an aftermarket like the Volquartzen? Did it seem to help with extraction? I've had some issues with brass being stuck in the chamber, then I have to pop it out with a little screwdriver. It could be ammo related or dirty gun, but didn't know if aftermarket would work better.
  6. Hammer - Thanks for the lengthy response. I appreciate the effort and time you spent. Has anyone had trouble installing a brake/comp on the M&P 22-15? I should be fine to remove/install a muzzle device with a sturdy vise and barrel clamp block, right?
  7. Any brake for a .223/5.56 AR will work for .22LR too, right?
  8. Thanks. Do you know what weight it's pulling? How's the break? Crisp? Has it been reliable? It would be worth a try for $10. Thanks. That's one trigger I've heard a lot of good things about, mostly in PCC. I was also considering a brake, since a guy I shot with this weekend was running the exact gun I have and the timer wasn't picking it up at all. Anyone have suggestions for a brake?
  9. I was looking to try RFRO. I was going to get a 10/22, then I got to thinking. I already have a M&P 15-22 AR and 5 mags for it...maybe I'd do a couple things to it to use for SC. The biggest thing I want to change is the trigger. Which trigger do you guys like? What optic? Any other mods for reliability or shoot-ability?
  10. I clicked this link and it took me to "ass magnet".com.
  11. Do the Mark III 22/45 mags work in the Mark IV 22/45?
  12. I keep having trouble with my Tanfo Limited snagging in my Bladetech holster on a Boss hanger. From what I can tell, the trigger guard is sharp and gets hung up in the corresponding area in the holster. After several draws, there will be kydex scrapings in the corner of the trigger guard. I clean it and it will be fine for a while, but then will hang up again. The holster flexes some, which seems to compound the problem by binding it. I've tried about every combination of tension with the holster screws...it can be made better, but not eliminated. Anyone else have trouble with this? I'm considering a RHT double layer holster because I've read they are very rigid. I don't really want to go to a race holster.
  13. From my research and personal experience, it seems that speed kills steel. FMJ seems to make it worse. I've dimpled steel with .223 fmj, but it is untouched with V-Max bullets at roughly the same velocity. Speed seems to help with fragments. I've been hit with pieces the most from slow, jacketed bullets.
  14. Ok. I may have been going off of old info. I can't keep up with all the clarifications... should have known better.
  15. I'd call before I ordered online. When I wanted mine, they showed in stock on their website, but when I called they were out with no ETA.
  16. Get the Mark 4 22/45. Better trigger and SA only.
  17. You can't have it milled and go back to Production. You could buy a G34 MOS and go both ways.

    P320 X5 Thread

Agreed. I would also call it "good"... definitely useable out of the box. I guess I just expected more because of the hype. I probably went in with too high of expectations.

    P320 X5 Thread

I finally went and handled a regular P320 this weekend. I thought overall it was a nice gun, pointed well. I was not impressed by the trigger. It was fairly heavy and had a kinda creepy, mushy feel to the break. I thought that by the way people talked about it that it would be better.
  20. That's about right...Gutt wins Production Nationals with this gun, right before they discontinue it.
  21. Thanks. That's kinda what I was thinking from what I've read. I'd like to just buy it with serrations rather than messing with milling, shipping, refinishing, etc.

    P320 X5 Thread

How do these triggers compare to a "massaged" Glock trigger? I like the idea of this gun, but don't care for the lack of aftermarket (other than GG) and modifications that can be done yourself.
  23. Are the new Glock 17 MOS versions coming with front serrations or just the regular 17?
  24. My Limited .40 has broken in to about a 3.5-4lb SA trigger. It is nice and crisp, but I'd like to lighten it up somewhere closer to 2-2.5lb. Im hoping to get by with just changing springs. Which springs need changed to drop it down a little? Also...is there a floating trigger pin for Tanfo? That would make total disassembly so much easier.
