Looking to add some base pads to 17rd Glock mags for Production. Which do you prefer? I've used TTI on CZ mags and liked them, but they are the most expensive. I've used Shockbottle on CZ mags and liked them. I've never used Dawson, but they are the cheapest of the 3 by quite a bit. They have 3 sizes...which size do you guys like? I'm looking for quick to get a hold of and easy to disassemble/reassemble.

Ruger seems to be making a push to be taken more seriously lately, instead of good rimfires and cheap but decent everything else.

Man is it going to get confusing soon with more small frames. Now you can about guarantee your looking at a large frame in the US...with these it will get muddled up. To me, the larger frame is the only reason to go with Tanfo over CZ. The somewhat simpler design is just a bonus.

Is anyone else having trouble seeing the newer Front Sight mag online? I can't get the two newest ones to open, but older ones will.

Gotcha. That sucks because he is a good actor and the shows good. From my perspective, I didn't see them pushing any overtly anti-gun stuff, just lots of killing, as would be expected. I wish celebrities didn't feel the need to get on their soap box all the time. Like I said, I didn't see that, so my opinion may have been different if I had.

Damn... didn't see that. That sucks, but I guess we're pretty limited on what we can watch if we bring politics into entertainment, unfortunately. We'd be limited to listening to Ted Nugent and watching Jon Voight movies.

I thought it was really good. It's basically a 13 part movie. I was unsure if I'd like it about 20 minutes in, but once it gets rolling, it's good. John Bernthal (Shane from Walking Dead) does a great job. I recommend it.

Yeah. Use good ammo at matches, use cheap stuff for practice. Good ammo goes a long way...I use CCI Minimags. My 22/45 only has problems when it gets dirty, which is exacerbated by cheap ammo. I clean before a match, shoot a couple mags through it to make sure I got everything back together right, and it's good to go for the most part. I do plan to buy a Buckmark at some point to try out. I have only held them, but really like the feel.

I'd get a 22/45 lite Mark IV. The one button take down beats the hell out of the old design. Also look at Browning buckmarks. I like the grip on them better.

I know. What I'm saying is that it is a heavy gun. It's gonna take some milling to make CO weight. If some of the milling is external, other than the sight, it is out for production. If it's all internal, then I wouldn't think it would be within the weight specs for production. I could be wrong though. I hope I am, cause I'd love a double duty gun, and much prefer the new Shadows grip to the old one.

I've stuck to kydex thus far, but have not been happy with fit of my Bladetech holster. I've considered going RHT, but have read a few reviews of them being tight and needing some tweaks. I might still try one. I've pretty much decided Limited division is where I'll be for a while, so I'm curious about a race holster. I've never tried one. I was looking at the DAA Alpha X. I really hate to spend $200 for something I might not like. I'm looking for general thoughts, experience with the Tanfo Limited and race holsters, model you use, etc.

I was thinking about this too and read somewhere on here that it could make weight with milling, plastic guide rod, and plastic base pads. My concerns would be that the plastic base pass would handicap your mag capacity in CO, and the milling would take away the ability to put the rear sight plate on and run it in production, either because external changes or not within weight specs.

I know they're on YouTube, but like I said I like to listen to them while I'm working and don't want to use all my data. I usually download the mp3s off of feedburner, but they all got taken down because of the site hack. What YouTube downloader do you use? I used to use free tube, but last time I tried it, it didn't work. Do they make one for just audio? If so, I could just do that while I have wifi and listen to them when I don't.

Is the Taran Tactical base pad for the CZ interchangeable to the Canik? I already have a couple CZ TTI extensions.

Just curious how they work. I've had some trouble with my Henning pads and Grams guts, and am about at the point where I'm willing to spend the money on MBX if they work. What do you guys think of them?
