Stock trigger and APEX CAEK is truly what works for me....

Like many here, adjustable with FO front in green. I used to shoot with a red FO FS but found that the green really popped for me as well. I just prefer how the front sight is "framed" with a wide adjustable rear. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve come to find that I prefer the hinged stock trigger on the M&P series. For whatever reason I am able to work it faster than the Glock “style” triggers and find it more comfortable. I recently purchased a 5” CORE (with over travel adjust) that had the enhanced trigger already installed (along with the comp sear and springs) and couldn’t get accustomed to it for anything. So I dropped a stock trigger back in and it’s been magical. Who else is in this boat, where all you’ve needed to drop in has been a sear and springs to maximize it for your use? I just usually wait for someone over on ar15.com to post new mags up then snatch them. Much better prices than found with most retailers unless someone has a blowout deal.

These are the 4 types I am currently running in the RO Elite Target I just got a few weeks ago First is a Metalform, second is CMC (with indentation at front of mag- no spacer), third is a WC, and fourth is another style WC that had a poly follower that I swapped out with a spare Metalform follower I had. They all run 100%. I have yet to try out the stock 9rd SA mags that came with the pistol (with indent like CMC’s). I’ll most likely just keep them for dry fire/Barney mags. A couple of years back I did a side by side comparison of Metalform and Dawson mags. Other than a greater degree of polishing on the Dawson mags (and markings), they were identical. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pics please. Lay out the parts so we can see it all, will help to diagnose. The Dawson MSH is longer at the base for the attachment of the magwell (if I am understanding you correctly). The MSH should just slide on, matching up the hole for the retaining pin. Did you do any further disassembly? Just want to help get to the bottom of this.

My Dawson magwell slipped right on to my RO Elite without any issues. @WidowsSon683 did you get this resolved? If not, do you have pics to share?

Seeing those Ruger's with Glock sticks make the wheels in my head turn.....

I ran down to 115pf on a standard 5" Pro, as well as a 2.0 (no spring modifications). Nice and comfy to shoot, but steel just laughed at me....

That makes two of us...

The jury is still out. During Saturday's match I had 4 instances of FTF across three of the four stages I shot. I haven't had time to dig into this further, but may get some time in the next few days.

I have used a TON of WWB 9mm in my M&P's and they love the stuff. A trip to Wallyworld is my back up when I don't have time to load some stuff up ahead of time.

I used the factory spring and rod. I have not had to swap these out on M&P's I have used. I am loading 124gr Frontier RN TCJ's at a OAL of 1.16. That is a load I use in all my 9mm pistols with no issues. I have to defer to Bkreutz on the safety question. I hadn't removed mine yet because I had no problems getting accustomed to a safety on the pistol after shooting 1911's so much.

So took it out yesterday. It ran without a single issue with my new 165gr Frontier load at 170pf, as well as the previous BB 180's and factory WWB, and Federal AE. As far as the Eg's go, it just didn't like that load. Still failing to feed, and now a periodic FTE.... I won't be loading that most likely and stick with BB's and Frontiers.
