  1. Truth, Lies and O-Rings is a great book on the tragedy. NASA really lost their way after the Apollo program. Incidentally, the Apollo 1 disaster anniversary was also this week. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Yes, it's very labor intensive. It's not for everyone that's for sure. But I have enough free time to tinker so it's no big deal to me. You're living the dream Sarge. I am still in so it'll be another 10 years till I can have pretty brass again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I ended up getting rid of mine. The brass looked really pretty but it was time consuming to prep the brass and I wasn't seeing any benefit for the extra time. The brass did look really sharp. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Powder is your cheapest reloading component. There is money to be saved elsewhere for me. Very high quality and allows me to shoot coated bullets without issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I shoot production. I didn't think to check the legality, but it is easy enough to wipe off before a match if necessary. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I put a little sharpie mark on the inside of the mag well to focus on as I rotated my gun. That helped a lot as I was focusing on the right spot as I inserted the new mag. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Once I got the vibraprime running it has been awesome. It was very affordable and works well for a few thousand rounds a month. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I had a ZEV and did not like it. With federal primers I was still getting light strikes. At the weight I ended up at, I was better off with a ghost rocket. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. This ^. Good transitions all start with the eyes. At 7 yards, your splits and transitions should be about the same on the Blake drill. Working with a timer in live fire helped me a ton. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Jerseys are really 2015. Body paint is the way to go this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I broke down and bought a tool. I got my money out of it pretty quickly pushing sights on for friends. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I clean every month or so during the season and before majors. I don't think I've ever had a jam that was due to a lack of cleaning with a center fire gun. Being dirty works for me... Like the others have said - cleaning more isn't a bad thing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I've used them for the last year. I really like them in 9mm and 40. I'm using the 125gn 9mm with 4gns of N320 at 1.13 with great results. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Can you post a picture of the comp? What bullets are you loading? How heavy are the bullets? A picture or video would help a lot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. ^ what he said as far as the U Die. Be careful messing with removing the fail safe rod. If you need to size twice, get a 1050 and do it safely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Don't get too excited about the tension adjustment on either the DAA or CR Speed. I'm not convinced it really makes a difference. The CR Speed is a little more prone to being unscrewed and lost. Dry fire reps will make more of a difference than the brand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. You can also get the cheap plastic magpul grips and stipple them with a soldering iron for a really cheap aggressive grip that works really well. VZs look great, but they are pretty pricey. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. What bag is this? I must have one... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. The Cadillac! Way better than jumping the C-130. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks TDA, I was searching for "Crip" and I didn't think these guys were into reloading. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. They already make it. Take a look at the Glock 19. 5" Barrel and it uses the Glock 34 clips. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Always pick a simple plan that you can execute well. Here is what I do during walk through: 1. Figure out where all the targets are - don't forget a target. 2. Figure out where you have to go. 3. If you see a target from multiple shooting positions, always take the easy shot. 4. Figure out what order you want to shoot them in. 5. Run through the stage in your head 25 times before you step up to the line. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
