  1. yea I saw that Kurt, its also double the price thankfully I found a Benelli hammer
  2. I will look forward to meeting you.
  3. Thanks Dan I love my Versa Max I'm just a little nervous with that hammer breaking and FN just 9 days away. I managed to snag the last Benelli hammer Midway had (and the only one I could find). I have the Nordic charging handle and C Rum did my carrier so those should be good. Just trying to cover all the bases since I'm new to 3 gun shotguns.
  4. Thanks Dan Are there any other parts that should be changed or any parts that should stay Remington? When my hammer broke I had 600-700 rounds on it and it broke by the hook not where it was mushrooming from contact with the firing pin so I'm a little concerned.
  5. Since it was my hammer that broke what parts are interchangeable between the Benelli and Versa Max? Below is a list of parts I was going to replace with Benelli parts. Are there other parts I should change and are there parts that should not be changed? extractor and spring firing pin and spring cam pin hammer
  6. Here are pics I got from another post on Enos. It is very easy to see the difference in rifling. Also new barrels have 1 or 2 dots on them to indicate which machine they were made on. No dots = old style barrel. New barrel Old barrel
  7. call them and they will get you setup
  8. does anyone have an ETA on the new remington lifter? I know just hoping
  9. fly to Pittsburgh were still free Well better off then some
  10. yea and the check is in the mail
  11. I also got one of the barrels form SSS and it is the original twist not the new 1/10 twist barrel. Anyone want it before I send it back?
  12. Look down the barrel at the rifling and compare it to the pictures above.
  13. one or two dimple only shows which CNC the barrel came off of they are the same barrel
  14. Start with FF but FFF would also work
  15. does anyone know if this will fit on other guns I'd love to put one on my M&P 40 Pro
  16. Brownells has them in stock as of last night
  17. After reading the link all I can say is I have more respect for MarkCo. Excellent responses and logic but that doesn’t surprise me J
  18. Thank you for providing more than a story three parties removed from you. I spend a lot of time in court with my job so I’ve accepted that any goofy theory can be brought forward but most get thrown out as the case moves up the system. Rulings in the lower courts can be scary. After years of researching this subject the best summery I’ve heard is this, if you are ever in a self-defense situation you will be arrested, go through court system, and spend a boat load of money defending yourself. Take anything else a bonus.
  19. I remember watching guys putting ammo in plastic bags and spraying them with silicon during matches but it’s been a long time since I’ve seen anyone doing that. . If you’re gun is running right on the edge with springs ECT it could reduce friction enough to keep the gun running (That’s what Todd Jarrett told me when I saw him doing it many years ago). I never tried that myself, I do lube all my cases when I load and do not clean them afterwards so they still have lanolin on them, does that count.
  20. Only place I know of to get the factory sear plunger spring is the S&W factory. Apex makes aftermarket sear plunger springs and you can get them from speed shooters specialties or anyone else that carries Apex parts. I’ve never heard of a change to the ejector, as far as I know they are all the same.
  21. Not trying to start a fight or be rude but here we go again. No case, court involved, date, or anything just a random story with no backing or specifics.
