  1. John It seems to be a very common practice here to lube ammo. I am sorry but no I cannot provide Units Doug
  2. Rammer Jammer I see that also to the point of the weapon not cycling in its function And thanks Biloxi23
  3. Thank you for the responses The reason I ask is that I’m finding soldiers here in AFG and prior to this in Iraq are, were doing it in spite of the dangers of blowing a gun. EVERY -10 in the US Army that is a weapons TM states not to do it as it could be fatal. Massive pressure spikes. Ive yet to see any one on any site similiar to this mention the dangers of the practice. When I ask the soldiers why they do it I get " it makes the gun run better" in spite of all the sand and dirt ingestion caused by the over use of lubricants that is so obvious. I’ve known that lubricated ammo can be a fatal mix for years, well heck since probably 14 when I read JS Hatchers book. I was just wondering if the civvies out there are doing also. Thanks Doug Bagram Afghanistan
  4. I am wondering how many shooters out there lubricate their loaded cartridge cases? How many shooters carry lubricated ammunition in their duty gun or carry gun or match gun? Why is it done? Thanks Doug
