  1. I have been using the buffs from EGW for years and have not had any issues or had them come apart.
  2. RMR does make a FMJ I believe. I can't tell in the pic if its a lead exposed bottom.
  3. Try weapon shield solvent. You can actually spray it on, leave it sit overnight and the next day go shoot and it'll blow it out while shooting. It will also leave a protective barrier so it won't build up again. Just apply every now and again. Ask Akai, he's a believer now also.
  4. I do my 22/45 mags in a tumbler. They really don't tumble. just the media running through them. It does smooth them out.
  5. Here's my 45 i use to shoot for pins. It's been updated a little. I actually shot this last year at the PSA.
  6. Soak your comp in Weapon Shields Solvent and it will come right out
  7. I tried a pair on over the weekend. They were big to the point they felt like they were moving. I have a bigger hear and Radars are very comfy
  8. If you run a 16lb spring you will probably have less dip from the muzzle when the slide comes forward.
  9. You can use a plate rack and shoot, 1/6, 2/5, 3/4. The closer you are the wider the transitions and vise versa.
  10. I just went back to the size 8 dot. I think it actually messed me up shooting steel. Too many misses all of a sudden. The only thing I changed was the dot size.
  11. So if your're shooting with your weak hand, left, you should shoot left to right because you will be driving your gun with the bigger pec muscle rather than shooting right to left and using your rear delt and vise versa.
  12. Mine still goes on the front of the trigger guard. I'm trying to change that, but it's a hard habit to break.
  13. I shoot open and use the DAA aluminum mag holders. My first mag holder is just to the left of my belly button. it is angled to the left, not straight up and down. I tried switching that holder to bullet out and I just could not get used to it. I switched back to bullets forward. People are telling me BO is faster, you don't have to turn your wrist, it's more natural of a movement. To me going in slow motion when I drop my left hand from my gun to grab a mag, I am slightly turning my left hand and rotating my elbow straight down and my hand goes right onto the mag laying somewhat sideways. If I'm running BO I have to twist my wrist and elbow MORE to get to the mag and I have to do they same coming back up to slam the mag into the gun. Maybe it's just me??????
  14. If there is a field course, say 32 rounds, I will start with a 140 and then the first place where I can reload on the move I put in another 140. Or I'll start with a 170 and reload towards the end of the course, Depending on my game plan of where to reload. I use 140's for classifiers.
  15. +1 for the Hoppe As far as lube I've tried so many. I tried the Mobil one but I noticed my gun was super dirty after a match. I just switched back to the Brownells lube and I'm going to stick with it. My gun functions great with it and is still clean looking after a match.
  16. That is the most badass aggressive grip there is!! It WILL slice your hand. My buddy actually hand to go over certain spots lightly so it would stop cutting his fingers when drawing.
  17. The EGW can be drilled and tapped but it's very hard.
  18. Talk to Jason on things to try. He is a great guy and very helpful. Awesome grip.
  19. I'm trying to find the most compatible powder to it. Alliant blue dot is dirty I believe. I like WAC, but they say the 3n38 is softer hitting.
  20. Did anyone use this in a 38 Super? Is it a harder or softer hit? More auto comp feeling or 3n38 feeling? Any Data around?
