  1. Nope that only says for SPo1 which isa full dust cover CZ75
  2. got a pair turn up today seem very comfortable just around the house
  3. OK, so here's a hypothetical: You're shooting a stage at an Area match, and one of the guys in the squad has a buddy who's taking video. He does something, gets the DQ, argues it, they allow the video his buddy shot to overturn the DQ, he continues in the match. You're the next competitor. You wind up doing the EXACT same thing in the EXACT spot and the RO DQs you for it. You don't have a buddy taking video. You're DQ'd and the other guy is not, for the same infraction. Are you going to be OK with that? And does that provide a level playing field? If you answer anything but "no" to either question, you're kidding yourself. Exactly the problem with allowing competitor video
  4. I'm not sure I would say ON the fault line was within the confines my call would be to start inside the area on the ground. We usually have the statement "start position as demonstrated" then demonstrate the start position to the squads and don't start the competitor until they are in compliance with the demo.
  5. I actually don't have issues with uprange starts here in OZ as we usually do them unloaded so IF someone breaks early there will be no "incident", what we seem to be having more of is stages that require more running backwards than we previously had, that's where i think issues come up more. But overall it's up to the competitor to be competent in all the aspects of prac shooting so it's down the the amount of practice they do.
  6. No but I was able to work with him some. Seems like a "to the point" kind of person. The RM was the one making all the calls on the DQ's. yep he is " direct to the point guy" Heis my National NROI guy and looks after us in our State
  7. KTM was your CRO Greg M from Australia those comments to the DQ'd guys sound like things he says over here
  8. 4 things- natural ability and practice, practice practice
  9. I got one for a 1911 didn't like it at all the gun just doesn't seen to sit right.
  10. Nik my question was not a bout the 4th shooter as I know the teams are comprised of 4 with a throw away score but why the DNROI (Team manager) has the pick, and if it was the same person. That seems to be the answer so that tells me why DNROI has a pick and not a selection committee that picks every team member.
  11. I understand you guy's have more people shooting USPSA than we have shooting IPSC in Australia so I understand the slot system, we just need to be members and pay up and shoot, we normally get about 250 competitors for our Nationals down here
  12. Why doe's the DNROI get to pick the 4th? Anyone know the thinking or is it the same person as Team Manager?
  13. IPSC won't "try out" a new system at a world shoot they are a bit slow on the new technology but I think it may get there eventually, but it will obviously need to be a business arrangement for it to happen
  14. Yeah don't get that system, hand over you "good "mag and then use your "others" as I said earlier we normally check them all at a match
  15. I understand that Parallax, I meant do they check all of the mags you have or just one of them?
  16. How many of your mags do they check guy's? We check all of them in IPSC
  17. So your saying that no one shoots IPSC in the US at all Elguapo? Best to get this whole section's title changed to just USPSA rules then
  18. Appendix D4 16.1 of IPSC rule book Modifications to them, other than minor detailing (the removal of burrs and/or adjustments unavoidably required in order to fit replacement OFM parts or components), are prohibited. Other prohibited modifications include those which facilitate faster reloading (e.g. flared, enlarged and/or add-on magwells, etc.), changing the original color and/or finish of a handgun, and/or adding stripes or other embellishments. So in IPSC you can NOT stipple your grips in Production, how ever you can apply tape to the area's marked in the picture the OP posted.
  19. I believe that is why the OP asked the question. The appendix illustration does not show both sides of the gun, only the left side of two different guns. How far forward can you go on the right side? Not trying to be clever but why would you think the dimensions would be different on the other side of the grip?
  20. I was being facetious I certainly wouldn't bump them on either of the 2 things mentioned - empty mag into dump pouch or pocket it's just getting a little over officious
  21. how about if they put it in their front pocket ? you would bump them?
  22. Parallax you seem to be inferring that the shooters by their action have broken a rule could you point out the specific rule they have broken please.
