  1. I am purely talking IPSC as I don't shoot USPSA, but it seems the attitude to the proposed "division" seems the same. Talking to a few guy's here in Australia over the weekend at our State Champs (260+ competitors) the biggest thing about it seems to be it's title, Production Optic's, the first thing that comes up is "doesn't belong in Production stick it in Open", And I probably agree for a trial surely there is a method of tagging in the scoring system to do that so they are only shooting against each other. Other than that if you explain the concept of (IPSC) Production listed gun with slide mounted optic only the acceptance of the concept seems a little easier. Terry
  2. Not quite what was talked about on the GV the comment made was "the earliest it could happen was the next GA" And as VP stated on the Aus forum it had been pushed up the ladder but didn't receive a good response Q. Ok, this has been bantered about for a few pages, when might this become a reality? Response.- The earliest possibility would be 1, Jan 2018 (after successful ratification by the 2017 IPSC Assembly in France)
  3. Hi guy's can anyone tell me who manufactures the STI black G10 m1911 grips and where I can get them. Looked on the STI website but they dont appear. Thanks.

  8. I'm party to this thread and a similar one on the Aust forum, I wouldn't hold my breath as it has been pushed up the chain but didn't get a very good reception at the higher levels
  9. Unfortunately there is not enough people using Hipowers out there in competition for anyone to make one that doesn't require welding a Techwell style would be best but again probably not enough $$ in it. I'm actually trying to find out if another manufacturers magwell would fit.

  17. Hi Pat A few of us here in Victoria, Australia are coming up against this wall. We are currently the only State in Australia allowed to shoot .45 for Classic (so we are because we can .) But it's a choice we make going in so if the stages are not major friendly that's unfortunate but shooting .45 makes up for it as we had been denied since 2004. there are a few guy's in other state shooting major using .357sig, facing the same issues.
  18. Apparently both Todd J and Rob L did at the World shoot and as Paul the Brit say's the story is after the match Rob said He should have shot major.
  19. In IPSC in Australia we send a letter informing them of the reasons, backed up by scores for a couple of years to our Section (Area) committee and they look at it. I did it myself a number of years ago, I got a new gun and shot a State level match and shot out of my skin that match but was never able to repeat the performance. After 2 or 3 years I sent a letter to the committee and was granted a regrade back to where I was shooting scores at. Has made no difference as I was ROing so much I was never able to shoot decent scores due to having to rush through the matches.
  20. did that T.A.S sight drop in or did the slide need some machining? Looking at some of those for my Springfield loaded
