Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Looks like the Win NATO 124 gr brass I've been finding more of that type of brass.
  2. I had trouble with Rainier .45 plated swc 200 gr. Changing the length did not help. This was the only one that consistently failed to feed in my xdm 4.5"

I was wondering if anyone has tried to work up any loads with this powder yet.
  4. Berry's recommends those to be seated at 1.060". I started running them longer at 1.065" and my accuracy improved a little. The only powder I use is TG. How much crimp are you applying?
  5. I understand what you're saying and leaving the human element out of it. It could be anything that will effect bullet shape ie.. case didn't bell properly and caused a shaved edge, air or contamination in the bullet casting, deformed ogive, everything that rotates will vibrate, you just change when and how much. Given the rpm of a bullet leaving the barrel it's amazing they don't disintegrate.
  6. For what its worth the 550 can easily do 3000 rounds per month. I purchased a primer system for large and small primers I feel it helps save time. It appears you have the perfect setup right now.
  7. I'm looking for a new Chrono and was curious what the general consensus is on the new Doppler chronos? Likes / dislikes.
  8. I really like the double layer. I didn't think of that. the insert cost $175.00. The case I already had. The case is about $120.00.
  9. Got my new pistol case for my three favorite pistols. It's a Pelican 1520 with a custom insert. It will take 10 rd .45 and 140mm mags.
  10. So I shot my first ppc match. Scored 967 19x. Seemed too easy but I'll do it again. It was a 1200 match.
  11. I do believe this was posted in the wrong spot. Sorry.
  12. Hello I'm going to shoot a PPC match this Saturday and was wondering what class I would shoot in with a Range Officer in .45? I supposed I could wait until sat but was curious anyhow. Thanks in advance Chuck
  13. Ok so I was full of sh** it was a 6 gall bucket.
