  1. Under the trigger guard I suppose.
  2. I think I also left a magazine. Perhaps on Stage 3 on the first night. It's a SIG P320 mag with a TF 140mm extension.
  3. This light is available in a VTAC rail for 11 o'clock or 1 o'clock mounting http://wyomingarms.com/product/light-body-assembly-for-fenix-pd35-light-troy-vtac-rail-eleven-oclock-position/ http://wyomingarms.com/product/light-body-assembly-troy-vtac-rail-one-oclock-position/
  4. Here is some video from the Starlight 3 Gun match. I am running the Wyoming Arms light on my rifle and shotgun and a Surefire X300 Ultra on my SIG P320.
  5. The match has been a lot of fun so far. I have never been to a 3 Gun Match that has a live band playing at it. Here is some video from Stage 2. Coming from shooting Production division I might get a little carried away when I am allowed to use my 45 round PMAG.

    Sig P320

This SIG is designed and produced in the USA, so that might be your problem.

    Sig P320

As an LEO you can get it for cheaper than that with a third magazine thrown in. http://www.sigsauer.com/LawEnforcement/Le-Mil-Individual-Officer-Program.aspx
  8. Would backup iron sights found on some setups help to minimize this issue?
  9. Apparently. I did have someone there shooting a fully textured purple grip in ESP and thankfully she didn't have any issues at the equipment check. It made me a bit nervous since glue and grit isn't mentioned in the IDPA rulebook like it explicitly is in the USPSA one.
  10. Thank you. For comparison, here is one without all the color. I also do some partial styles that just put the texturing where I need it for my support hand. Since the entire SIG P320 grip is only $45 MSRP it makes for a great platform to experiment on.

    BUG guns

I am factoring that in. Interestingly enough I think the P320 subcompact is only available with 12 round magazines right now. Stepping up to the Compact grip frame gives the option to use 10 round Compact magazines. It looks like those share the standard base pad so extensions will work.
  12. Cool to see this thread still going. I have done around 20 grip jobs now on SIG P320s since the complete grips are like $40 and not serialized. Occasionally and on request I have added some color in with the grit.

    Sig p938 for carry

I am about to order one of these and a matching 238. GrayGuns is still the most renowned place to send your SIGs for work. I can't wait to try mine out. I have been using a stock P320 for carry but want to have some pocket options.

    BUG guns

Looks like I am going to be building two grip frame modules up for SIG P320 BUG guns over the next few weeks. The full size magazines are just slightly too long so I will be working with Compact Magazines. For one I will be Chopping a full size frame down to fit the compact magazines and then chopping the rail. The other one will start as a Compact grip frame but I will use slightly modified Obsidian Arms base pads to get the maximum amount of grip legal while still fitting in the box. I will, of course, report back once I have them done but I think it is going to be a really fun project.
  15. I have two of these now, one for my shotgun and one for my rifle. Wyoming Arms makes a light body assembly for these that has an integrated rail attachment. They sell it for $150 with the lights installed that put out 960 lumens. It seems to throw light much more evenly around the bay versus having one bright central focal point. I got one for T&E from Wyoming Arms and was impressed enough that I bought a second outright. http://wyomingarms.com/product/wyo-light-wml/ I shot this last night in the field behind my house. I was just using some pivot head glasses so the actual light visible to the eye was better than what the video shows. The tree line is about 50 yards away. This was testing lights in advance of the starlight 3 Gun match next week. I am using a Steamlight TLR-1 HPL for any long range rifle work, a Surefire X300 Ultra for my pistol, and a WYO Light on each long gun for bay work. Here is my setup as of now. I think the bipod and the TRL-1 HPL will come off until I hit a long range stage. https://instagram.com/p/7tOTOlkZJk/
  16. not to mention spending the price of the gun all over again. For posting as much as you do you are surprisingly unhelpful.

    P320 Limited gun

Chuck, I am running a stainless steel mag well on my P320 but have run brass in the past when I used to shoot Glocks. Obviously steel mags will scratch up the brass but I wouldn't expect to see any functional issues, just cosmetic ones that you should be able to periodically clear up if desired. A couple of my team mates are running the brass magwell for Limited and 3 Gun so I will ask them how the wear has been. The slides with the adjustable sights are not made from 40 slides. They do, however, represent some of the ongoing SIG and GGI R&D efforts tasked to the team to figure out what should be done to push the P320 to the next level. I don't know what might make it through the process but will say that I have been extremely impressed by SIG's receptiveness to feedback from the team and, of course, to feedback from Bruce. I know Bruce has plans to have some options for retrofit adjustable sights but you will have to contact him directly to see about timing.
  18. The JPoint is pretty dang small and light. I think it weighs 0.5 oz What about new Sig Romeo? The SIG Romeo will be pretty awesome. I mentioned JPoint given its weight because the OP talked mentioned smallest. If given a choice I would certainly be running the Romeo but I am also biased.I the Romeo 3 would be what you should like for as it has the rail mount already integrated. The Romeo 1 is designed for slide mounting. Here is a pic of the Romeo 3 from Shot Show. https://www.all4shooters.com/en/specials/trade-shows-2015/SHOT-show-2015/optics/sig-sauer-Electro-Optics/Sig-Sauer-Electro-Optics-02.jpg?resize=930x870>
  19. Not sure. But at (minimum)$300+ for a slide optic + mounting hardware it's too much for meOh the irony!! This pet division is supposedly based on its affordability compared to Open. So, now what? Another division for those that can't afford CO? Just keep watering it down so everyone can play? I guess rim fire is next The attack continues. $300 sounds like the price for a good big stick in Open. However, again, this is not about a low cost alternative to Open. Some people have no interest in Open division but would like a practical, optic equipped gun to shoot. Show me on the doll where CO touched you? You have really been extremely rude throughout this process and I am surprised that it continues now that it is a provisional division. If it's really the dumb idea that you say it is then it will die.
  20. ??? It's more about keeping a level playing field. A frame mounted dot will absolutely perform better than the slide mounted one. The stock offerings from industry and what most would choose for an optic enabled "carry" gun is slide mounted so I think restricting to that method is appropriate.

  22. I saw shooters with light sticks at other matches. What do you use them for?
