  1. Assuming the video and photos can be used to broadly promote USPSA you should be added to the match staff.
  2. At a minimum of sincerely hope that Paul shoots national matches for free and is treated as match staff. Getting video out to the community is a huge service.
  3. The guy wasn't trying to take credit for it. He referenced the source and even had liveshots in the title. I am not advocating the action but once it was pointed out that the owner didn't approve he took them down. No one could belittle the hard work that goes into this, but given an opportunity I did just want to mention that the only time I ever use QuickTime is for the liveshot videos. As soon a I am done I remove it from my computer because my feelings towards Apple seem to mirror Paul's feelings towards Google.
  4. It looks like those videos have been taken down. Paul, if possible it would be great for you to post those compilations on Liveshots. They were very well done and interesting to see back to back. It would also be great if you would make YouTube an option for your videos. I can't view them from my Android phone and always have to install and then uninstall QuickTime when Nationals rolls around. I can't even maximize the videos when watching in QuickTime from my Windows system. YouTube would be much better and you could even monetize the videos to make at lease some lunch money for your efforts.

    P320 Limited gun

The 9mm slide in quite a bit lighter which might explain the difference. More lightening cuts inside the 9 slide. The idea would be to cut fit the grip frame for the STI magwell and drill down hole to pin it. I just picked up a stainless magwell off of the classifieds for $55 so I will have an alternative option to the aluminum. My advice would be to order another grip frame module or two for the experiments.
  6. This is so sexy! How heavy is this setup? I would estimate between 32 and 33 Oz including the base pads and a heavy guide rod. If I get an exact weight I will let you know.

    P320 Limited gun

Here is the test grip frame I have been messing around with for 3 Gun. I will be starting a new one in the next few weeks once the magwell gets delivered. I also have a X300 tac light that will add 4 Oz out front and a holster is being made. I need that to run a night 3 Gun match in September but if I like it I might keep the light out front for weight at other 3 Gun matches where allowed. http://i.imgur.com/z7TJ4oih.jpg

    P320 Limited gun

I am taking about filling that gap inside the magwell. I have done that on several Production guns and in a large grip frame I can pretty easily add an ounce with lead shot and epoxy. I have some fishing weights on the way to see how those work and might even just epoxy in four 147gr BBI bullets along with some shot next time around depending on how well the other stuff fits in. If that doesn't work well I may eventually just melt some lead and make a more exact slug to fit in that space that would then be epoxied over. Reports I have heard are that the P320 in .40 shoots pretty soft anyway so I don't know how much weight you would need to add but I have enjoyed testing various grip mods to see how far we can push the platform. Regarding magazines I get 23 rounds of 9mm in the Taylor Freelance basepads.

    P320 Limited gun

He is using a tungsten grams magwell for an STI. I am not sure that you can find those any more so for the time being I am trying this with an EGW aluminum mag well. I also have successfully built up a mag well out of epoxy but it isn't nearly a clean as this would be. Getting the STI magwell on will require some obvious modification to a grip frame including some epoxy work. If it works out well I might consider a stainless steel or heavier STI type magwell but anything heavier than aluminum costs more than I want to spend for an experiment.

    P320 Limited gun

I would try this frame weight http://stores.sjcguns.com/sjc-glock-frame-weight/

    P320 Limited gun

Here is one set up http://teamsigsauer.com/sig-sauer-p320-uspsa-limited-production/ I am filling the gap inside the magwell with epoxied in lead and have a magwell on the way that I will attach to a grip frame. He used a tungsten mag well but my first go at this will use aluminum due to cost. The DAA race master holster now supports the P320 if needed. I would get a GGI fat guide rod to add some more weight and allow adjustment of the recoil spring. Lead filled former light could work or get a frame weight like what Tori runs. I would do everything else first as that might not be needed
  12. Cindi isn't still shooting the Sphinx? Edit: sure enough, she shot an ACCU at this match

  14. Backup sights definitely factor into your decision about how and where to mount the optic if you have a gun that doesn't come from the factory with one. Milling is only allowed for the Optic so if you want backup sights you have to use the existing dovetails or use something like the DeltaPoint Pro that has an optional rear sight attachment. Those tall sights might also driver up the weight so they likely won't be an option for anyone trying to lighten a steel gun to make weight.
  15. Sorry, but no. If you have a gun that has a ported barrel it is okay to shoot in Production division if it's on the list and if you get a non-ported barrel for it.
  16. Not manufactured in China and certainly not questionable quality. Manufactured in Japan which is the same thing that is stamped on my Vortex HD Gen II. Give them a chance to come to market before making your judgement. http://www.sigaddict.com/8-news/613-updated-msrp-revealed-for-the-sig-electro-optics-tango-6
  17. It's not rebranded, SIG makes it in its new electro-optics division. Lots of top talent came over from Leopold so they know what they are doing and are dead set on putting out a quality product.
  18. Corrected. Thank you. I am pulling information from profile pictures and videos if I can't find photos from the 2015 Nationals
  19. 20. Interesting decision since the world needs one more source for 1911s. Is there anything exceptional about it?
  21. At Shot Show they mentioned firing an obscene number of rounds through one strapped to a 10mm P220 but otherwise I haven't heard.
  22. SIG Sauer P320 with a SIG Romeo 1 milled into the slide. The P320 will be available in the near future with the milled in Romeo already attached. If you are at Nationals today it's hanging around the SIG tent near Stage 10. Is there a lot of race parts for this? (Large aftermarket) Lot's of sight (has P226 dovetail cut) base pads (Springer, Taylor Freelance, Obsidian Arms, Stoeger Boss pads), guide rods (Springer and GGI have heavy guide rods that take 1911 recoil springs), and holsters (Blade-Tech, Ghost, Drop in trigger parts are supposed to be coming this year but in the meantime GGI does some outstanding trigger work on P320s. Apex has a new flat faced P320 trigger but that wouldn't be Production legal. The grips are also really inexpensive so it makes them easygoing today customize.
  23. Max is shooting the SIG P320. It's hard to say from the video exactly what happened but my guess is he missed too many shots on the poppers on the left, had an extra reload as a results, and had to wait on the swinger. Just talked with someone on the ground. Sounds like it was not a gun issue.
