  1. I had some hands on with the RX and snapped a few pictures as well. I am definitely excited to get one and hope to hang around the day after Production Nationals to shoot CO Nats. I am actually shooting a CO match tonight with a P320 and a DeltaPoint in an attempt to at least get classified in CO. Everything is waiting on the release of the Romeo1, which is still scheduled for later next month. As soon as the factory gets a hold of them then you can expect Full Size and Compact RX to start rolling out. The priority will be full guns first. Exchange kits will likely happen but not until later. A P320 Target is also possible but, again, not until later. If I wanted to shoot a P320 Target in CO for Nationals this year I would plan on buying a Target and having the slide milled for a Romeo. That is only my assumption there, no inside knowledge on my part about the timing of a P320 Target RX. I just think they need to get some of the already announced stuff out the door before focusing on new variants.

    Sig P320

I saw that picture today. It hangs way over the back and definitely looks tall. It would work but I wouldn't run it outside if NRA AP. Best to settle on a load and order the correct size fixed sight.

You should ask Scott Springer at Springer Precision. He sells them and I think he has tried them before on his personal P320. He also has the best supply of other aftermarket products for the P320.

Dawson XD adjustable rear sigh will work as well but hangs over the back.

On the low end you would be looking at $1500 (MPX-P set up with Springer Precision barrel shroud and Yugo stock). On the high end with tax stamp and all the bells and whistles You would be a bit over $2k. Somewhere in the middle would be the 16" MPX option.

Updated with a side folding thin stock SIG Romeo3 with riser, Timney 3lb trigger, magpul MIAD grip, Springer plus ten extension, and a Lantac Dragon brake.

    Sig P 320 shooting high

Not enough. For four inches high at 15 (assuming Full Size) you would want a front sight that is 0.049 taller assuming you want it zeroed at 15 yards. Best bet would be to swap it out with some Dawsons or similar.
  9. That's Romeo3 co-witness riser but the screws are in the same location as the RTS2 so as long as it can fit the extra profile on the front those mounts should work. Springer Precision also has some Romeo3 specific mounts.
  10. The Compact and Subcompact use a dual captured spring instead of the simple captured single spring used on the FS. The width may be to accommodate the dual spring system.
  11. Thanks for pointing this out. It looks like this update was also included with on the SIG Romeo3. I wonder what other updates the Romeo3 might have in it?

I did notice that Lena Miculek's two new guns have Bruce Gray's new-style trigger design in them. https://www.instagram.com/p/BBiYCzqFS8b/ As for kits, last I heard from Bruce was March. I think he has been heads down on getting that stuff done because I haven't seen him on line lately.
  14. It's possible. Scott Springer at Springer precision has been itching to adapt one of his comps for the P320 but the lack of threaded barrels for the full size has been a challenge. We had a chat not too long ago about using a Compact slide instead since you can buy threaded barrels for the Compact/Carry or you can take a stock full size barrel and have it threaded. One challenge about the factory threaded barrels is that they are threaded in 13.5x1LH so it makes finding a comp off the shelf a problem. If you can find a threaded Compact/Carry barrel or have an additional long one then I would recommend reaching out to Scott to see if he would work with you on the project. Here are his shorter XDM Comps
  15. No. No changes to the triggers from Production rules.
  16. Bruce has mentioned that he wants to make that sight an offering as a retrofit. He told me that he could make it work but I haven't seen details yet.
  17. From App D4: 21.2b Milling of slide — only as required to insert sights Remains in effect – a slide may be modified specifically for the purpose of installing sights, and for no other purpose. You can mill the slide for any (iron) sight you wish. Yes, you can mill in the adjustable sights but you have to be very careful because of the lightening cuts on the 9mm FS. It's pretty easy to mill down through the slide if you aren't careful. You can run a Dawson XD Adjustable sight and it will work just fine but will hang over the rear, as previously stated. You might check with Scott Springer. He has those sights in stock I think and has tried that out in the past on the P320.
  18. That one looks to come pre-rusted
  19. I think you have to take the racker off.
  20. Here is some poor quality video I took of my first rounds through this brake. The rifle is a basic 16" M4 style with Carbine length gas and full mass BCG and recoil system. It shot very flat and felt soft. During the mag dump you can see that I still get pushed back a bit but everything felt good and I had no issues keeping double taps inside the A zone.
  21. I saw it and I played with it for a bit. It might help if I had a rifle that fit me better but I had a bit of trouble keeping my eye in the eyebox for the x6. The theory is great that you can be going along working from the dot and immediately glance down to see the zoomed image might fall apart in practice since you have to be perfectly on the x6. Shifting your view back and forth would take a bit of getting used to. Overall it's a cool concept but I couldn't get it working smoothly for me in the few minutes I had to play with it.
  22. The slide is slightly longer at 5", the IPSC Production limit. They could have gone to 5.1" and kept it in the Production box but they opted for 5" to keep it eligible for IPSC. The grip has a great history all its own. It started our as a medium P320 grip at Grayguns, a bunch of epoxy, and a list of things Team SIG would like to see tweaked to have an ideal grip.

No, but the other aftermarket guide rods add 0.50oz
