Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. It has been a while, so I wanted to revive this thread to see if there might be any new information. I am now in Norfolk, Va and would be willing to drive one to one and a half hours or so.
  2. After all of this time, I am really surprised that an area as large as Hampton Roads does not have more to offer. For now my closest option is about 2 hours away. I may need more time and money for that.
  3. "Here's my idea for a sport..." One of the best stand-ups I have seen. Would have been great to make it to a show in person.
  4. Thanks for the input so far, any others will be appreciated. Trying to keep the drive from Virginia Beach to an hour or less.
  5. While I was deployed at the end of last year, Blackwater practical shooters had to stop their shoots at the range they were using. I have been searching the google machine since I have been back looking for another monthly USPSA shoot. Does anybody know of any that I have missed in my search? Thanks Y'all.
  6. Nobody has caught me airgunning yet. I usually airgun arrays of road signs as they come up while driving the interstate.
  7. I also recommend the shoot that Blackwater Practical puts on at Academi. great time, I wish I had the time to go every month. It has been since last August, so if not this month, then next for sure.
  8. Practice does not make perfect. Practice makes PERMANENT!. Take you time and practice, but make sure you start at the speed that allows you to execute safely, correctly and accurately. Build your speed from there.
  9. My heart and prayers go out to all that have had their lives torn apart by this tragedy. These were just babies that have not yet had a chance to live life. God bless every one of their families and friends.
  10. The fact that it is possible to set up a COF in such an manner is what makes this such an awesome sport. It challenges your problem solving skills, your focus, your agility, speed, and accuracy. How many other sports could you do all of this while sending lead down range?
  11. Thanks, I guess luckily I didn't bugger anything up.
  12. I have never heard of not droping the slide on an empty chamber. I have been doing it while I dry fire for years now. Can someone fill me in?
  13. *EDIT* My computer froze and ended up submitting the same thing twice. Anyway to delete duplicate posts?
