  1. i'm just taking a long hiatus. I'm waiting for my children to become of age and hope that they join the sport with me.
  2. There's a scene in Big Daddy where the little kid gets rid of all the pigeons with a slingshot. maybe that'll work with the crows? lol
  3. i'd also add 15ibs resistance bands for shoulder stability. I recently tore both rotator cuffs from bench pressing (not crossfit ironically) and I've had to put a lot of strength back into my stabilizer muscles. That and/or crossover symmetry bands. one or the other is a must.
  4. I have a trijicon SRO on my tanfo stock 3 extreme. My original love with a mounted red dot was the old C-more and the SRO was similar to that.
  5. the guy reminds me of my old shooting instructors (military) since everything has to look the same/dress right dress.
  6. i'll be honest. if LO becomes an official division, i'm selling my tanfo stock 3 extreme and getting me a MPA DS9. Love that 1911 trigger.
  7. i had a similar incident where my elevation screw would not adjust. I registered my SRO through the Trijocon warranty program and submitted a trouble ticket for maintenance. I sent them the sight and they weren't able to repair it so they sent me a replacement SRO. Total time was approximately 6 weeks. Only thing I had to pay was for the shipping.
  8. You have definitely poured your sweat and tears into helping the sport. its pathetic that people have not picked up on what you're doing and asked to help. Of all the people I hate most are the oens that say "I'm just here to shoot". It needs to be implied that if you attend one of these matches, you'll also learn how to 1) reset stages, 2) learn to score, 3) learn to run a timer, 4) not be an arrogant POS.
  9. any chance there are some videos if the gun running?
  10. it'll be provisional for a year correct?
  11. it's interesting that many want Limited optics but the majority wouldn't switch over from CO. Also surprised to see how evenly split some of these results are.
  12. Kwontanamo

    Which 320 for CO?

I got to shoot a friend of mine and it felt pretty good. Its not exactly a Grey gun trigger kit but its a close 2nd. you'll enjoy it.
  13. if you can't beat em, join em. I remember seeing some survey a few months back and nearly 50% of current participants shoot CO. Thats insane. PCC, Open, and Limited are pretty evenly distributed at approx 13% each.
  14. https://www.brazoscustom.com/frame-assembly boom. Here you go
  15. I have an SRO on my Tanfo and it’s been flawless. I’ve also shot my friends G34 with a Deltapoint Pro and it worked great.
  16. I was also in a similar dilemma between MPA and BUL. I’m convinced with MPA. I shot 38SC for along time when I was shooting open. I’m running CO at the moment and hope to get back into Open with 9major after I retire or if my kids get into the sport with me.
  17. Pretty interesting take and i'd also be interested on how the board views this. I would go ahead and add the limited round count to anyone shooting in the optic & iron minor divisions. Otherwise, I like this idea. Keeps it simple. The only other thing i'd add is making magazine lengths for PCC to 171.25mm or a stock 33rd glock magazine.
  18. saw the initial Instagram posts this morning and didn't believe it. Prayers to the Ballesteros family.
  19. I wonder what the classifieds section is going to look like now that LO is approved as a provisional division. Other than 3-gun or tactical games, LO doesn't carry over into IPSC divisions...or does it?
  20. Asking for some people & Soldiers. I used to be part of a Non-Profit 501C3 program called "Veterans 3 Guns". This mission was to "Promote community and enjoyment of life for all military veterans using competitive shooting sports as a platform to build camaraderie, assist veterans with resources, honor fallen military service members and raise public awareness about the high suicide rate within our military veteran community". The program lost the 501C3 status back a few years ago and I haven't researched other programs that had a similar mission and approach like them. Anyone know of a similar program?
  21. Poor man's open part 2! Doesn't IDPA and Tactical games rules allow guns with these specs?
  22. It probably wouldn't but it was a thought. It was the "robbing Pete to pay Paul" thought. If they do allow SAO CO to take off, something has to give with the current CO division and I saw the DA/SA side of CO taking the hit. 100% agree. I'd be one of the pissed off folks and still get a SAO gun...knowing myself. Poor man's open 2.0?
  23. If SAO CO gets approved I can also see a change to DA/SA guns. Back to 10rd mags, no base pads, and no slide cuts. Original factory setting and modifications.
