I was under the impression that the X5 legion had a trigger that was comparable to the GG kits.

My friend shot for him a while back and ran a 4” open gun with the tungsten sleeve and titanium comp. The comp and barrel weighed as much as the slide.

I used to pre-position 2-3 go-pros on individual stands to capture my 3rd person views. I put 1-2 of them down range depending on the movement of the stage. Otherwise one of the cameras was on my head to capture the 1st person view, which didn’t give me the best feedback TBH. I learned more about my movements, prep, reloading, and posture from watching the 3rd person view videos.

I’m tracking midcarolina and lugoff host USPSA matches but do they allow people to rent bays to shoot for practice? I’ll try to call during work (which is a s#!t show this week since everyone is rushing for Independence Day weekend) but figured someone in the forum would know.

i have but none are open bays where i can practice movement drills. there are two in vicinity of my location but they are stationary shooting lanes.

Can you use double alpha holsters for NRA action pistol competitions?

I work in Sumter, SC and there are times when i'll have a Friday off on or about once a month and i'd like to find a range that has open bays for people to shoot at. Is there any place around me that would accommodate this?

if i wanted a BUL SAS UR 2, your set up is what I'd want to go with. i am curious though, how much more did you spend on all the changes on top of the original price of the gun itself?

I look at the comps used in open guns from Infinity and Rafferty and they look the same as the MBX and Brekee comps. Coincidence?

MBX PCC basically uses the brekke comp combo on a 10.5" barrel. looks pretty good too. Oh and cheaper!

When I see a PCC close to $3K I wonder if I should build or buy an AR instead

in addition to taking some painkillers I recommend the following. 1. Use to foam roller to roll out the larger muscles and work your shoulder into the foam roller to try to get as much of the tightness and knots out. 2. Get a Pso-Spine and use it to release the tight areas along your erector muscles (the muscles that run along your spine). 3. If this is too much, use a lacrosse ball or a tennis ball to work out the tight spots along your upper shoulder and spine area.

I get updates on reloading components on the “Reloading” channel on Discord. The Discord App is free and you can easily find the reloading channel to get updates on anything ammo related. I used it for my “gaming” days, which are long gone now.

I think it’s all personal preference. I got used to metal grips after I transitioned to 2011. Prior to that I shot a lot of glocks (especially in IDPA). It’s only after some considerable time that I also think people prefer more or less snappier guns. Weight has a lot to do with that.

I had IDPA shooters ask me why I shoot USPSA and when I told them my first stage consisted of 3 times and ammo and 5 times bigger…yea I wasn’t looking back. AND more modifications on guns?! It was over for me.

While the horse is beaten with Everglades being the best for 9major. I can completely empathize with you with the time and patients part. Got 2 little ones and it’s impossible for me to even have 5-10min to dry fire. I would also recommend collaborating with someone who also shoots 9major. If their loads work great for your gun work a deal to where you pitch in via components or what not.

This is too radical. If I were to change anything maybe PCC gets a magazine cap.

i also thought about this. Do I ask to have the titanium comp turned to where the ports face 12 and 6 o clock or go with the PCC comp. i'm a fan of the M-lok rail and the mission first stock though.

Cool! Although I do wonder how rollback compares to a shortstroked PCC though. Does anyone have inputs?

I have friends who shoot both major (.45 ACP or even 40SW) to minor (9mm). If they're shooting minor its because they want to take the opportunity during local matches to hammer in the basics and force themselves to get "A zone hits. They'll break out the major gun about a week or 2 before a major match.
