To me, the extra weight of Shadow 2 is the main thing. Many people have switched to Stock 2 just because the Stock 2 is heavier even though the CZ trigger is just better even with the Bolo stuff. With the extra weight of Shadow 2 we would have it both - the extra weight and the superior trigger.

I did the same as above. I bought a DP Pro that was defective - I could not adjust windage and elevation at all. I shipped it back and got another one last Friday. Went to the range this weekend - the same. This time the elevation is okay but it shoots right 8" with the windage knob maxed out. Going to return again and get the replacement the third time... Ugh

It looks like the P320 X5 could be an inexpensive Limited gun. Is it possible it would be Production legal?

Shadow 2 is worthless if it is not USPSA production legal.

100 pistols a month does not sound like a lot at all.

To me that is the most crucial part.

You could try different connectors and polishing. It helps. Most people, however, shoot lighter triggers better. That is what you should try first. To lighten the trigger substantially you need a lighter striker spring. To make it reliable on all types of primers, you need a skeletonized striker. They cost a little more though.

According to the current rules, the original sp01 shadow is legal for Carry Optics while S2 is not.

Not sure about that. Perhaps with the bolo interruptor it is getting close to the CZ short reset, but "better"? Nope

Also sent a shadow slide in to be milled for a delta point pro.

I actually think cheap crap plastic Glocks sights are the best! Because they cost next to nothing. Everybody can immediately dump them and easily install their favorite aftermarket sights which are available in all possible flavors. Sights are personal preference. I actually wish that all guns would come without any sights so I do not have to pay extra for the stock crap I would replace anyway...

If I wanted a striker gun, it would be a Glock....

There were issues with the frames on the 1st gen models, the polymer would flex.
