Planning on going to California for a match

I have to buy 10rd mags. What base pads should I use with mecgar 10rd mags so the gun fits the Production box?I am currently using the springer precision pads with 17rd mecgar mags. I hope I can use the same pads with the 10rd mags.

I have shot 10K+ of blue bullets (147gr, RN, Accushadow). They are okay. The coating is not as good as others. I found I need to clean the chamber more often with these bullets compared to others. I'd buy them again IF the price is good. For the same price I'd go with something else

P09 and Tanfo (Or sp-01) are two absolutely different guns. You can not compare Omega trigger on a polymer gun (P09) with Stock 2 or SP-01 Shadow. It is like comparing a revolver with a glock:)

I change recoil springs every 4K.

I completely disassemble and clean my gun every 1500rd (twice a month this year). I replace a TRS each time I do it. $2 is not a big deal.

I am thinking of shooting Limited with SP-01(40SW). Does anybody make high capacity mags/extensions for it? Thanks

In my opinion, CZ's trigger is superior. Quality is identical. The Tanfo box is better though:)

I was told that the Omega guns are in general more reliable/durable than the classic ones. Is that correct?

The stock SP-01 Shadow dropped off CZ-USA website I believe towards end of 2014. But it wasn't moved to discontinued, it just disappeared. Haven't seen any floating around new in the wild anymore, all going to CZ Custom and Automatic Accuracy for custom or Accu builds probably. Yep, I do not see many of them for sale either. I was thinking of buying one to build a CO gun

I have tried to do that. It works; however, once a month or even more often I have to re-tune them again and again. The factory CZ mags are just not solid enough. Looks like they are made from thinner aluminum compared to Mec-gar.

Same here. I use factory mags for practice only.

What is your main spring?

Well, I broke another one last night dryfiring. It's been slightly under 4K rds plus daily dryfire. The spring was the new one (10067) that was supposed to be more durable. Replaced it in 5 min and continued dry firing. Looks like I should replace it every 3K.

Dead blow hammer. Well, I am happy to report that this has worked. Shot over 400rd last weekend through old magazines with no issues.

As I said before, I have been shooting those mags for over 15K without any issues until recently. The new ones are alright. They get damaged at some point though. The spring replacement alone does not help
