  1. I dint know anything about 3 gun but I like that t shirt.
  2. Awesome. I think that the best thing about the bigger matches are the caliber of shooters that you see. Most of my local matches, I finish 10th to 20th out of maybe 40 production shooters. I finished something like 208th out of 230 shooters at my first level 2. I shot the sc sectional behind the guy that won overall. Very humbling experience. At local matches, there are always 2 or 3 really good shooters but my whole squad in SC were Damn good shooters. I really learned a lot and had an awesome time. I can't wait to get to another one.
  3. The pal will not hook up to a printer or a computer. As far as I remember, that is really the biggest difference. I bought the pal.
  4. I shot my first level 2 match a couple of months ago. The only thing extra I took was ammo.I took like 500 rounds where I normally take about 200 to a local match. Take some extra cash too. There were people selling brass, bullets and powder at reasonable prices.
  5. I load the 147 gr fp blue bullet at 1.110 in my sp01 with solo 1000. I'm going to need a new load for that bullet. I haven't seen solo 1000 in about a year and I'm almost out.
  6. Lube your cases. Even though you don't need to, it helps the machine run smoother and will probably tighten up your oal. It did for me anyway
  7. I just found that MarkCO. Thanks.
  8. It had always been my understanding that you have to have at least 2 paper targets in a cof to be uspsa legal. I cannot find where that is stated in the rule book. Am I wrong?
  9. I carried mine into battle today and came away victorious over 50 other shooters overall and victorious over 30 other shooters in my class. I have been carrying my cz into battle since November of 2013. I realize that is not the answer you were looking for but it's the only thing I have.
  10. Just another milestone on your journey. I am trying hard not to do the same thing but when you are trying to push it as hard as you can, it it's bound to happen.
  11. I catch my own round at unload and show clear. Then I do a little River dance move, drop the hammer and holster then I do a Micheal Jackson moon walk.
  12. It does - at 2.9gr, none of the rounds fed. As I gradually increased the charge, an increasing proportion of the rounds fed properly. I assume this has to do with full retraction of the slide. Of course it could be that at 3.3gr, the slide is fully retracting and no additional feeding benefit would be gained by an increase over 3.3gr.I see what you are saying. That is still not a feeding issue. That is a function issue. Do you by chance have access to a chronograph? it would be nice to know what velocity each round was producing. At 3.3gr and 147gr lead, I'm getting ~820 fps. Pretty slow, huh? That is pretty slow. I would bump the powder charge to 3.5 or 3.6. I would try to get to 900fps.
  13. I think if you have mastered the quirks of the load master, you would be disappointed with the 550. I have often wondered if the blue kool-aid is really that much better and I'm sure I will give it a try one day but it will definitely be the 650 when I do

  15. I agree with Dave except for the e3. That's horrible powder, just walk right past it and ley the next sucker take it. [emoji4]
  16. I have it. Haven't had to take the meds in a while though.
  17. That match has come a long way in the last few months. I hate that i missed it but I have been shooting almost every weekend and the honey do's have been getting neglected. I hope to be back shooting at least 3 matches a month by the end of July. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
  18. The Clays should work well. I have a buddy that loaded the 147gr coated with the blue dot and liked it. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
  19. I load on a Lee load master and have considered switching myself. I have read quite a few threads about primer issues and other problems with the 650 so I am reluctant to drop the coin. I will probably switch one day just to satisfy my curiosity as to whether or not it actually loads better ammo. So far the load master is working fine so it's just hard to justify. 20. I think my shortest round is a lucky 13 128gr LTC that loaded at .990. accurate and soft with some wsf. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
  21. Wow. I Should have charged more for the 4 lb jug I just sold. I let it go for $80. Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
