Yes, you have to cut the guide rod seat back otherwise the slide is short stroking every time.

Fastest draw / reload with a hit on the target at 3 yards. Man on man steel. Using a plate or etc, start at 20 yards each guy gets a shot. Back up 5 yards and shoot again, if you miss you're out. Last man standing wins. Usually gets up to 60+ yards.

I installed a system in my shop floor. Circulates hot water from a domestic water heater.

I think Derek has a new aimpoint micro mount.

5" gun, .095" front and .115" rear. 6" gun, .100" front and .115" rear.

Is that for a 6"? How wide of a front do you run with that narrow of a width notch? I run a .100" on a 6" or a .095" on a 5".

Got mine. They look really good. I'm going to special order a .113" notch with my next order. They will probably go on my personal limited guns from here forward.

You can see the whole slide top in your vision with a 90 mount, helps you point the gun in the correct direction.

I just got one of those back last week. I mailed out the electric bill, and got it back with a bite out of it that included the address of the electric company. So it came back home at least. What really annoys me is that they charge you the stamp to get it eaten, then you have to put another stamp on the next one!

Sarge, The gun will run with either mount. It's all in if you see an advantage with the lower dot of the 90 mount, or if you like the looks better with the traditional. Almost all the top shooters are still using a traditional mount. Doesn't seem to hold them back.

You'll be way better off paying to have a quality barrel fit to your gun.

That's just because the 38 super was expending its energy ripping apart the bullet, where as the 45 would deform a little and put the rest of the energy into moving the pendulum.

Exactly, it's just easier to figure.

The STI 9/38 slides are all 38 breechface now, the only issues were with the 9mm specific breechface.

Square trigger guard is legal in Single Stack.

I have a regular Comp-Tac belt holster that works fine.
