    ZEV Dragonfly slide

You would have to try both, Springs are cheap. The idea is the lighter the slide the lighter the spring.
  2. You would get more answers if this was in the reloading sub fourm. I believe it is done in 2 steps to separate the brass prep from the loading. 1 toolhead -resize -deprime -trim and then you tumble and the brass it ready to load on the second toolhead
  3. SJCs kit comes with a kkm barrel. with all the issue i had with my limited gun and a lone wolf barrel i wouldn't waste your money on it. Even it it was a $100 more over a season are you really going to notice the cost?
  4. I bought 1000 when they came in Stock at pv and I wish I had bought more.. 100 percent in my glocks
  5. I'll play c class in open. A81126 Thanks
  6. I don't have one but my understanding was its like a push thru GRX die for all calibers. If you are not having problems with the way you do it now I wouldn't worry about it. But if you already had one and you could make sure all you brass is the same it might be worth it to run it all just to avoid issues.
  7. I think it cost me 35 to ship a gun when I sold it last time. I would go with that before I went to FedEx

    OPEN GLOCKS

use the crono. for open you want to use the lighest bullets you can with the most powder (to work the comp) until they go fast enough to make power factor. Open in the one division where it is normal to go over the power facter (I load 9mm to 175ish pf). You are more looking for the dot to stay in the glass and track correctly than what feels soft. My gun is really load but I dont even notice the recoil because it is more straight back into you hand and not as "flippy" like non comped guns. If your new to open (I am) I would find a load that works well, makes pf., and works the comp and then not worry about the load for awhile. There is so much to work on before the load is holding you back. Im not familiar with your powder where did you get the load data from?
  9. I use 4.3 gns for Major (165pf) and 2.8 gns for Minor (130 pf) using lead 180gn bullets at 1.150. You might have to use a little more for plated/jacket pullets
  10. Is there still a Match atAngola Conservation Club, Indiana the first Sunday of each month? I went in July and I was the only one that showed up.
  11. The sjc thumb rest attaches to the frame the same way the mount does. You still have to drill a hole in the frame
  12. I read a couple things about the weight coming loose. I don't know if it's meant to hold that secure to mount a sight to. I also haven't had one, just what I read.
  13. Run the tumbler just the pins for an hour or so. Just to knock all the dirt out of it.
  14. If you mean TOTAL ammo sales..... I don't think that is possible. They are running wide open. One thing we sometimes forget: when the government needs something (ANYTHING) they can go to the makers of that something and say: "You will make us this XXX and we will pay you whatever it costs. You will also never tell anybody that you are making it for us." And they are first in line. The government isn't buying all the ammo. There are a ton of new Shooters that don't know they are paying to much. And people are jumping it when they can find it because they don't know when they will again
  15. Are you shooting major?
  16. I couldn't find any powder and then my local shop had 15+ lbs of Autocomp come in at once. I thibk it's going to happen in batches like that, a bunch of one powder in a shipment not a bunch of different ones in small amounts
  17. I used it for 9 minor, 40 minor/major, 380 and 44 mag. works great
  18. If you could send me some pictures of your comp I would be willing to trade a 5 port sjc comp for your 11. They recommend the 11port for major only and the 5 for major/minor. Pm me if your interested.
  19. Zev. I don't think I would buy anything based on their YouTube videos.
  20. I have the racer and it's great with my 35/ open 17
  21. I thought about this last winter and ended up building one myself out of SJC parts. Its not that hard, and you end up spending a lot less money. SJC is a great company, im happy with the parts and the service I received. Have you shot one? If your around MI/IN I would be happy to let you shoot mine
  22. Why not go for 9 major? Just as safe and works the comp better. I love all my sjc parts, and won't be buying anymore lonewolf parts after my barrel on my limited gun gave me nothing but trouble
  23. I have a Hornady Lock and Load and a Lee Single stage. I use the progressive for loading and the single stage for short runs of ammo (44mag) and other dies. ( GRX die, bullet puller, decapping)
  24. Looks like they are selling the barrels for 120 and the barrel piece for 50. in stock now http://taylorfreelance.com/shopping/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=15
