  1. Prayers for his family and freinds.
  2. I filled 10 primer tubes and staged them with 110 primers in each tube. Filled the case feeder with 550 cases and had 550 ready to pour in the hopper. Filled the powder reservoir and had over 1000 projectiles staged. Started the 1 hour timer and started pulling the lever. One hour later I had 1018 rounds completed. Never going to try that again. Have no problem doing 650 per hour. Dillon 650.

  5. Same here Chuck. Was nice meeting you in person and running the clock for you. Great match to be an RO at.

  8. When heated gases expand and increase in pressure cool and they decrease. Full tank is better.
  9. I'm a RO and finished on Thursday. Had some good stages and had some bad. Good luck to all.
  10. Take your propane tank inside overnight to warm up. Makes a huge difference in the tank pressure and your flame will be hotter.
  11. Welcome to the forum. Pine Tree Pistol Cub in Rockford has Thursday night 3 stage USPSA. And the first Sunday a 6 stage match with a classifier.
  12. 2.6 on mine. Borrowed a buddies gun while I was waiting for mine to be built. It had a 1.5trigger. The lighter trigger made no discernible improvement in my shooting.
  13. 135,000 power factor! That explains the seismic readings at the local college geology department. I should have reduced it to 135 PF. I just wrote it out the way the math works out (870 fps x 155 grains = 134,850 PF) and rounded up.
  14. Careful downloading .40 S&W. I used Montana Gold 155gr JHP and could not get the gun to cycle at 135,000 power factor. Could have put in a lighter recoil spring but decided to raise the power factor to 140,000. Funny thing is the recoil feels lighter than my wife's 9mm at 130,000 power factor.
  15. I tried twice and it looked ok in the preview and got flipped in the posting.
  16. I stopped by Midwestern Shooters Supply on my way back from my brother in laws house in northern Wisconsin this afternoon and scored some powder.
  17. When I started working on CNC's back in 1978 our GE 550 controls ran on punched tape and only had memory to store tool offsets. We had to write programs by hand with endless hours spent on trigonometry. I had all the G code memorized. We then had to type it on a flexowriter that would produce the punched tape. Got so good that I could read the code on the punched tape.We eventually got more modern over the years I found my knowledge of G code allowed me to produce the simpler programs by just looking at the print and typing in the program at the control. Even feed and speeds where entered without having to make any calculations. I used Mastercam but many of the programs I found it faster to enter the program manually. I consider myself fortunate to have been around when CNC or NC as it was known then, was in its infancy. It gave me an intimate knowledge of the technology.
  18. I called and they went on the truck today. Should have them. Y the three week mark.
  19. The one benefit of having a larger circumference is more room on my belt for my 3 gun setup.
  20. Thanks. I'll be on the phone first thing in the morning.
  21. 2 weeks ago I ordered a Ice holster and magazine pouches from Blade Tech. I understand they make the holsters to order and there is no stock. Has anyone ordered from them recently? If so, how long before you received your order? I have a three gun match in March and want to make sure I get the items I ordered before then.
  22. I have some Federal M193 5.56 that I a can try.
