  1. Just got my 3 and magwell in today. Pretty dang quick for ordering on Thursday afternoon. Thank you, Mr. Springer.
  2. Remingtons in the $30 pack. Wrap around design, few different lense colors, and uncomfortable when worn for extended periods due to the frame.
  3. I think it'd be cool to have a threaded barrel for it. Springer has some aftermarket barrels to make this happen. Extreme slide lightening? You're pretty good on it as is.
  4. Yea, I haven't found or shot .22 in 2 years...
  5. Yup, that's common. The other 70% you're probably not slamming the mag in like you are the other 30% Edited: I'm commenting on the ability of the slide to be released, not the failure to seat the magazine.
  6. Springer is in the process I believe.
  7. Yea, I think this rabbit hole is a bit too deep on the fiscals ... I'll have to wait on this until I win the lotto, haha. I'll end up giving this a try, with grad school classes and two jobs it isn't feasible currently. It's unfortunate, I like shooting long ranges and hearing a metal target sound off. I haven't been able to shoot my regular matches because of this, also.
  8. I finished watching the first season just in time to start watching the current season. It's one of my 3 shows I'm watching now. Gotham, Blacklist, and Legends.
  9. I'd rather give money to somebody that hasn't made billions who is going to put that money towards family.
  10. I'm rather fond of my 16.5" ultralight with rifle-length gas. Worked out great for my dissipator build.
  11. That looks like a buddy's brass pile, he'll have the whole mag's spent casings all in about a foot diameter at 5:30 around 7 feet back.
  12. I really do appreciate all of the input from you great individuals, even the non-competitor ;-) I shot some mild loads the other day and they were ejecting as close to 12 o'clock as possible. Standard carbine buffer, full auto bcg, rifle length gas on an 18" barrel. It'll be nice for the recoil reduction and being able to find all of my brass in one pile.
  13. I've been calling her Bren for the past few days, she'll prick her ears up and she will come when called. We're still looking to find a good, loving home for her. She's intelligent and loves to play fetch with the squeaky shark and her tennis ball. If you know of anybody in the northeastern corner of Alabama that has lots of land and would take care of her, PM me.

    Want one!

Is it similar to the USP compact sights where you have to put the sights over the target?
  15. We played fetch with a tennis ball when I got home from work. She responded to Bren very well. Poor thing could barely get a hold of the ball. Unfortunately the parents have found a home for her if she's not chipped and nobody in the neighborhood claims her.
  16. We had a cute little Australian Shepherd puppy "adopt" us on Monday, she's been hanging out in our garage and I've grown fond of her. If we can't find her owners, I'll end up keeping her or trying to find a good home for her where she'll get lots of attention. This is a stock photo from Wiki, but this pretty well could be her with a thinner white "collar." Now, I can't keep calling her puppy, but I've thought about the following names, but I am open to suggestions. Sig/Siggy Bren Popper ???
  17. Any of these fit under an AP Customs carbon fiber tube?
  18. I played football for UAB, Green Dragon is an homage to the current Blaze mascot (we've had a pink feathery dragon, rooster, viking, and green dragon) and my football number was 64.
  19. True...that includes the shooter and the load. Yes, I plan on spending lots of time at the press this winter also as it will be a break from one of the jobs and grad school. Quick question, the buffer action spring, does it need to be reduced power just like what you would change out for a pistol's recoil spring for lighter loads? I will end up removing the weights from my carbine buffer instead of puchasing a light buffer.
  20. Just like the title states, I'm curious as to what the competitors are using. This winter I will be adding a low profile adjustable gas block, lightened carrier, lightened buffer, and maybe a different spring. Trying to figure which direction to go.
  21. Heck, my phone number contains my 2 favorite shooting related items. And in order too, no less!
  22. Just 3? you need way more than that! I think 10 will suffice! In time, I just want the 3 for now.
  23. Really? I thought with the way the rear is cut, it'd only take sights similar to stock... I'll have to investigate that.
