Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I have 10 inch round 3/8 thick plates and they weigh approximatly 20 lbs. Does anyone know if this is possible, have experience doing this or ideas? I was thinking about using 2 shepherds hooks per plate. This is for temporary steel practice and would prefer to not haul around stands. Thanks
  2. I just wanted to make certain you were aware.. UM tactical has a holster for their mount. I do not know if it will fit you brand however. Also the Boss hanger is the ONLY way to go. Night and day.
  3. Can anyone recommend a rear sight with a wider notch for the xdm 525? I was going to try resighting so my front sight sat way high, but then read that changing rear sights is allowed for production. “Sights, firing pins, firing pin retainers, extractors and ejectors MAY be replaced with OEM or aftermarket parts.” (Appendix D4, Rule 21.6) I just watched a Bob Vogel video and he used/uses Warren Tactical with more room in the notch to find the fronts faster..
  4. Thanks.. I am glad it's not just my gun. Another weird thing this gun does is.. with the mag empty after shooting and the slide back, if I slam a mag it will release the slide forward maybe 30% of the time. Has anyone had that happen?
  5. I put 19 rounds into the mags (9mm) and upon my first ever competition reload, the mag failed to seat and fell to the deck when I raised the firearm. Stunned! It happened again in another stage when I did not slam it home. Has anyone else experienced this? I seats fine with 18 rounds and that is what I did for the remainder of the match. Special thanks to the ultra cool officer on my shoulder who walked the new guy through it.
