  1. I took 'er out earlier this week. Emptied the buffer, installed the adj gas block and VDI lightweight bcg. Was able to dial it in using listed minimum charges for 3 powders. CFE and H335 min charges worked, have to up H322 from the listed 22.5 charge to 23, only one it wouldn't lock back on, but it did cycle.
  2. Not strong enough wouldn't go to slide lock with factory follower but would feed the last round.
  3. Everybody knows the best Oreo recipe is cover them with pancake batter, deep fry those suckers, and drown them in powdered sugar!
  4. These are the extended springs necessary to use with the extended basepads?
  5. I can attest to that, my paychecks make their way to Mr. Springer often.
  6. That's a pretty slick looking gas block. I didn't want to spend that extra $100 on the Colt, but if I ever get rolling in the dough I'd like to drop $100+ on comps and adj gas blocks and big money on optics.
  7. Remember, it is only an FTDR if you get caught with the heavy guide rod insert You can use it in Limited in USPSA but not in ESP/SSP in IDPA.
  8. I just had a friend send me a picture of a RED VELVET OREO.
  9. You would have less resistance and less friction between the trigger components in the frame and the striker in the slide.
  10. Haha, that's why I am dating a nurse practitioner. Congratulations to you and your daughter.
  11. No idea. Wouldn't it be ironic that Gareth and company would be done in by an infected leg?
  12. Ended up being the preacher. I didn't know if he was in the comics, never read them.
  13. Also, i forgot to add this. When I used the dremel to shave the materials off of my #3 backstrap, in addition to taking the materials from the bottom of the backstrap to make it even with the magwell, I had to radius cut the rear down a fair amount. Take down the width of what's left of the bottom raised portion deeper, and the first recessed portion, than the recessed portion. You will remove the raised bottom portion and the first recessed portion. Here's a great MS Paint drawing using Mr. Springer's picture from page 1.
  14. Who's the individual they heard screaming for help at the end of last week's episode?
  15. They should last longer than 5 years. No luminescence whatsoever?
  16. I'm just glad my Blazers put up more of a fight against Miss State than Auburn did.
  17. Look at the offerings from the different forum dealers. I'm sure that CC, PRP, and SP would have the springs you're looking for.
  18. Got these in last week, Finally had time to take off the excess materials from the large #3 backstrap. Took all of the commercial time from tonight's episode of Walking Dead and a little from Talking Dead to finish it. Feels good, it doesn't have any wiggle so I guess with the Allen screw screwed all the way in is how it's supposed to sit. I don't know when I'll be able to give it a match review due to a torn meniscus.
  19. Agreed. Keep shooting and practicing with your P30, I'd suggest one of the dry firing books for practicing draws and trigger pulls as soon as it's on target.
  20. I have no idea how I got her to stay put enough so that she's not a little blur. Actual pic of Hazel:
  21. I have good news. Late last week we were out playing in the yard with her squeaky toy and tennis ball when the momsnof a few of the neighborhood kids came over and started playing with her. After they heard that she wandered up and needs a good home, one of them asked her husband, then they ended up building a mid-sized pen and bought her a dog house and proper bed (I had given puppy one of my bed pillows), and took her. She's only a few houses down from us, Hazel (what the daughters named her due to her coloration) looks very happy having kids to play with and love on.
  22. Anybody else watch the 2 hour season finale tonight?
