I'm for the time plus system. But have thought about what the scoring and placing would look like if the scoring was done utilizing a standard deviation system weighing each stage equally no matter the length. Five seconds in a long stage would weigh the same as a half second on a quick burner stage. Anybody else thought of this scoring method?

You would need to reduce the bottom part of the backstrap to the same size of the #2 to the height of the magwell so that it can snap on and grind it flush with the bottom of the magwell. This can be done, but it takes some skill with a rotary tool. Thank you, sir. I'll be placing an order when mine is returned from Springfield.

Forgot to ask: can these be used with the large backstrap due to my large hands? Any thoughts on how to modify the #3 backstrap?

Be truthful and show her the price differentials between a case of store/online bought ammunition and what your reloading components will end up costing per case.

I finally sent this back this afternoon as I was afraid that they'd have to scrap the entire gun and charge me full MSRP on replacement. I'll post updates when I hear from Springfield about it.

Here's my contribution. I just put the VZ Operators in Predator Green and a 2 piece Ed Brown snakeskin MSH/magwell on it. I've yet to get the magwell machine and blended with the frame. I am undecided as to what finish to go with after the work, but I really really want to keep these grips. Anybody know what colors would look good with the grips?

Celebrated by shooting an IDPA match in CDP with a .45 1911.

My 16.5" barrel was super tight on my BCM upper. Deadblow helped it get to its home.

Hunter660, the barrel is not dimpled, I couldn't find a shop to pin the sight block on the barrel due to it being melonited, so I had to use a clamp on fsb. It is .750"

Looks like a cross between the PPQ and PPX to me. It looks like a striker fired P30.

Or DPMS.
