  1. Sounds like a really special guy, those kind of people are the ones we have been lucky to have had in our lives!
  2. One of my top 10 favorites, will miss him
  3. it leaves a slight gap between your grips and frame, not so bad if you have rubber grips, I run several of them. no problems with them
  4. a really soft recoil pad like a simms or helps insure there is a a litte movement in the recoil
  5. I think the Uncle Mikes is legal in IDPA with the use of a paddle
  6. I'v been running them in Idpa for over 2 years, after a little over a year,I needed to replace the springs with new Wolff's, but other then that I trust them as much as any other mags. For the price you can own them 2 to 1 compaired to the other brands.I recommend them.
  7. Just read this,,, Rest in peace, Mark "that's pretty boy. to you Eddie...."
  8. Yea I picked up on that but I thought it was a fun light hearted movie.
  9. well I just picked up on this post, and I just thought I would mention, my wife has a Edge that is made of stainless steel I guese that just made a few, my wife has started shooting a M&P 9L, (she perfers the lighter weight) she has not shot it in over a year, so I am going to be selling it real soon, just a heads up if you might be interested in it.
  10. a bunch.. stainless? chrome moly? chrome lined???
  11. I bet I could do that on my 1200 Bandit,,, I would just be done a hell of a lot faster...
  12. Both my wife and I perfer Blade Tech paddle over the belt loop design, it actually feels more secure for us,
  13. looks like that might be a fun movie
  14. any idea when and where I might find Hornady 178 A-Max bullets????
  15. I actually just put strips of the loop side of velcro in place of the spacers, that keeps the shells from bouncing around when they are not full, and still pull out just as easy.
  16. just give it to me Russel, I know you won't be able to load it with out a magazine.....
  17. make sure you are not gripping the grip safety, may be hanging up on the safety pin going up in the slide..maybe??? worth a try
  18. just disassembled the extractor spring off the blue nub it was broken too....
  19. 5,000+ rounds through gun, two extrator pins broke back to back...WTF?????? cleaned the gun before a match, found the pin broke, replaced it, gun problems at the match, disassembled found second one broken
  20. Been running the same gun, for almost two years now in IDPA and a little bit in S/S, shoots just like yours...I've learned to trust the gun , that to carry it too. I use the ACT mags, after a year I replaced the mag sprigs with wolff can't even guese how many rounds through it, at least 7000
  21. I find Creedmore brass readily available now.. I can buy it locally, at a reasonable price. minimal case stretch, and with a 139grn doing 2900 fps I hope I'll get some barrel life
  22. I carry a Kimber Custom II, almost daily, also run it every month at the IDPA , never was a 1911 or a kimber fan, gun has proven me wrong...
  23. Shawn, I didn't see this on the other post, but if you get a single stack, you might consider it in .45, that way if you shoot any IDPA you can shoot it in CDP class
  24. 6.5 creedmoor, inexpencive easy to load for, gentle on the brass, soft shooting, cuts through the wind nicely. Some matches won't allow magnum calibers, if they have soft steel.
