  3. own 3 with TS barrels, all are extremly accurate, and the nice part is no dinking with, or tuning, put them on and run it.....
  4. so let me get this straight.... you fantasize about football players???

  6. My dad lives in Florida just south of Sarasota, and he needs a a few long guns reblued, who would be a good one in that area? Thanks for any help. Mark
  7. had nothing but problems with the Wilsons, and very unimpressed with thier customer service
  8. Yea, you think they could find a belt fed somewhere!!!!!!
  9. How so? easier than .260? My experience due to the lack of good .260 brass, reloaders form good (lapua, etc.).243 or .308 brass into .260, I know Nosler is now making good stuff, but the price!!! twice as much as creedmoor stuff.
  10. just a side note, I was thinking of building a .260 on a 700 action, but I went with the 6.5 creedmoor instead, so easy to load for, same ballistics and I get a little faster velocities,,,,,,, no regrets.
  11. I always open my house up and let people stay at my place, if there is a big match in my area, would be nice if more shooters did that.
  12. What kind of wads are used? now I know it is getting away from original post , but what press do you use? been kicking the idea of loading slugs.
  13. cool I have the free program on mine, is the pay one that much better???
  14. DWI/DUI!!! you don't even want to get me started!!!!! First time offence should recieve capital punishment!! There should'nt be any second chances, our legal systems keep letting them out, waiting for them to kill someone!!! EVERYONE knows what happens when you drink and drive!!! It's like pointing a gun at someone and pulling the trigger....someone is probably going to get hurt or die! OK now that I blew off steam, glad to hear you daughter is ok.
  15. one more Clint Eastwood, Joe Kidd, some different period weapons, savage 99 and the broom handle mauser. plus the long range shooting was kinda cool!
  16. opened the door on my MGM flag target at 250 yrds, off hand with my 2 1/2" model 19 S&W
  17. S&W's judge knock off is pretty funny, Taurus has been copying Smith for so long, I guese its their turn now.... lol Thanks for the pics
  18. How far do you consider or able to shoot long range? This will probably start a fight but I don't think .308 is not the best for long range shooting. what is good about it though is the available information and load data for it. so for a newbie it is easier to get in the game with it. But I believe the 6mm-7mm cal are much better for it. unless you want to step up to .338 .408 and so on, but you sart going into the big bucks. and remember dont over budget your rifle and be left buying a cheap scope.
  19. 63 years young, one of my favorites.
  20. be carefull, I think Clark Co.(Las Vegas) has a whole differet outlook on concelled carry laws that don't allow carry there. Kinda like the states prositution laws
  21. while not an as experienced as a lot of long range shooters on this forum, My experience is a good barrel and a good bullet seem to make it all come together
  22. thank you for all the advice, making me think now...lol
