  1. we (as people) never learn, this is just like the housing situation but in a smaller scale , I believe that the bubble will burst, supply will catch up to demand and alot of people will be selling primers for 1/2 the price they paid for them when they lose thier jobs. And in that time I've got other hobbies I enjoy and will be backing off on shooting as many matches, until the primer supplies balace out.
  2. now I know what to charge you for staying at my house during the area 1.........
  3. I've set up a video cam while burning up a mag full to see the ejection, I was able to see any variations, you might give that a try..
  4. 1) IDPA just started shooting revolver in this 2) 1 a month to every other month 3)6 / none 4)no 5)no, I wouldn't be very competive with it(2 1/2"model 19 ) in other deciplines. 6) I like shooting all types of guns, avid 3-gunner,shooting an STI Eagle, Kimber 1911, Glock 17, M&P 9, S&W 19,and whatever else I can get my hands on. 7)see 1&2

  7. I'm afraid this is going to really start hurting matches and clubs..how hard would it be to start making primers???
  8. Like Batman, Ironman or Arthur? -ld Yeah, Batman, and Ironman for me are a lot more interesting (they may not have superpowers, but they sure have super abilities). They are also characters that have a identifiable background and I know how they got there. And I probably read every comic book published on them by the time I was 12. Part of my problem with watchmen is admittedly that I never read the comic book (picked it up once but did not find it interesting enough). Too many holes in the movie for me. And what was the deal with Rourshack's (or whatever his name was) mask? Arthur who? King Arthur? Arthur is my awesome buddy/sidekick. Chris/Tick SPOON
  9. I built my first one many moons ago, was very easy and I learned soo much, and had the personal pride of doing it myself. Understanding the gun, is part of understanding shooting and you'll have fun doing it..
  10. Carefull you are going to get 20 different answers from 20 different people, which might help you with your quest or confuse you more. The best advice I think is to try as many different ones you can, usually other shooters are more then happy to show off their toys.Unfortunatly you may keep changing optics until you find what fits you the best, we are all diferent and see things differently. With scope always changing and comin out with the latest and greatist, we still are looking for the holly grail of optics.. Wish there was a perfect answer.
  11. just don't be to upset when your daughter out shoots you whith your own gun,,,, have fun!!!
  12. our local post office was letting a tatered flag fly, I commented on it, and was told they were waiting for a new one it took weeks for it to be replaced, then the city hall lets it fly 24/7 with no light on it.........

  14. seems like there are alot of large pistol magnum, and large pistol magnum match, around...in this area...I'm in need of small rifle
  15. you do know that the Edge would not be legal for IDPA, My wife has an Edge and I have an Eagle, both are bull barreled and we shoot USPSA with them, and we both shoot 1911 .45 for IDPA, she shoots the 1911 much better, I don't care for the weight of the Edge at all, we are actually thinking about lighting the Edge up.
  16. would of been more impressive if he would of shot the belt clean....
  17. I've got my S&W 1006, I think I will stick with that
  18. last year , Area 1 3gun, shotgun only stage, final shooting box through doorway 9 easy shots, IF you didn't have to load 1 extra round while flat footed, after that stage I put a nordic 8+1 tube on my wifes and mine benellis, learned our lesson there
  19. light use T/S matches some static games, and just general plinking, possibility of lossing some brass, but not planning on that to much..lol
