When I stopped in to EGW to drop mine off for work the first thing he noticed was it needed to have a bushing fit to it. The slide/frame fit on mine is still sloppy, but the barrel lockup with the EGW match bushing is perfect. I run the S&A magwell because it's IDPA legal, but other than that you are planning on basically the same setup as I have.

I ran this one last month, as my first match in about 3 years. It was the first stage of the day too, and on both reloads I had a botched grip on my mags coming off the belt and bad reloads. I had 100 pts in 11.66 seconds for 8.5763 HF. Can someone help me out and tell me what that is nationally? That was FINALLY my fourth classifier so I finally get a letter...probably C for now. (assuming my Mike, Mike, NS 14% score for later in the day doesn't ruin my average) edit: Nevermind, found the calculator site...looks like 51%.

My local SCCA region uses http://www.motorsportreg.com/ to pre-register people for racing events. Not sure on their policies, but you could very easily set up an account to handle the credit card payments via that site, or another like it.

Blast from the past! Any easy way to make up two to three seconds for you is to do a tac load on the 5 minute mark in your vid. Get the new mag out first and swap them, once it is seated, you can run to the barrel while also stowing the old mag. I think I picked that up from the Matt Burkett IDPA video.

I used a Glock 26 for my first year of pistol shooting/competition. It was fun going to the line wearing just a regular t-shirt over my holster and having the RO ask me if I forgot to bring my gun.

How do the new jersey matches work as far as high cap mags? I don't have any 10 round mags to bring there.

The only club I know of is Topton, which is about an hour away. Are there any other USPSA clubs within, say, 2 hours of Philadelphia? I know of a few IDPA clubs, but only one USPSA. Thanks

I was thinking of doing something with a hacked up set of stock grips tonight actually. I need a fresh pair though just in case I ruin this set beyond repair.

I'm going to be doing this too. I got a little overboard with melting the end of my sight this week, and at a match yesterday, in the blinding sun, it was hard to see anything but FLAMING FRONT SIGHT. It was hard to even see the rear sight because the front was drawing my attention so much. Oops.

While we're on the subject...I can't find ANY aftermarket grips for a p16 anywhere. What are our other choices?

I need to get me one of these. In fact, I just called EGW and asked if they would build me a 6" top end Does anyone know of any other shops that will work on my Para frame? Everyone else seems to be S*I exclusive now.

Who did the work on your Para, if you don't mind?

I have a S&W 1911sc which is alloy framed and honestly just don't like how it shoots.
