Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. This is for a 38 super. I was hoping to get info from someone who has actually tested/uses the BBIs or even Bayou bullets with the new coating.
  2. I am looking to try out some BBIs in my Open gun. I have read some are using N105 and Autocomp but haven't found much on load data. So, what are y'all using? Please include the following info: 1. Bullet weight 2. Grains of powder and type 3. OAL 4. Primer
  3. Vegas was lost on me, I don't gamble and don't get into the shows. That said, it gave me a good place to start from on a tour of the west (Grand Canyon area, Petrified Forest, Santa Fe, Taos, etc). About the only thing I liked in Vegas was the range and its location.
  4. Looking at the online squadding there should be 20 slots left..... My app should have been there by at least last week, we'll wait and see.
  5. @&$€£¥#%^ - Well, it had already sold when I called about it. So, the new question is 26" American or shorter length Comfortech model?
  6. I like what you guys are saying especially since its the more economical choice! That said, will I have any issues running a 26" barrel?
  7. I have found an 26" M1 used but in great condition for $600. I can get a new 26" M2 for $850. Is it worth it to spend the extra for the M2 and would I be better off looking for a 24" M2 American? Also, is the comfortech stock on the regular M2 worth the extra money?
  8. you can buy that m&p15-22 new from "buds guns" for 411.00 free shipping

  9. Mobile Pistol Shooters will be having a match the 31st (Saturday). If you're interested PM me and I will get you directions.
  10. Thanks Hurley, John told me on Saturday that he would be there after Thanksgiving, I'll send him an email about bringing the 3G1. The JP trigger is on my "options list. Adding it would put my build at the same price as the 3G1. After shooting your JP, I'm sold on the trigger. If I'm not mistaken, I am planning to use the same barrel as the 3G1 in my build so the weight will be about the same. I'll give them a look. Thanks for the help.
  11. I am wanting to get into 3gun but have a budget. of $1500 for gun and optics. I have put together a build on Midway to gt an idea of what I will spend if building from scratch vs buying a DPMS 3G1. The prices are close so I was wanting to get some imput on which would be better - my build or theirs for the money. I went with the YHM upper and lower mainly because they were cheaper than others but one feature that I like about the YHM lower is that it has a machined in magwel somewhat like the JP lowers. I am looking for other options on the following items but would want to keep the price fo each item under the price listed next to it. barrel - $250. Free float Tube - $150 (must be lighter than the YHM listed in my build) Here's my build list: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0Ak-KPbRtaZcbdDNRaGVVY1ItbEdrQUJoWHFVdUJsNFE&single=true&gid=0&output=html If I have left anything out or you know of a better price somewhere else or a better part that cost the same or less please let me know. I have found the DPMS 3G1 online from $1100-$1200 plus S&H and FFL. If you know of a better price point me there. Thanks, Jason
  12. Get in touch with Jim Norman at OBCATS in Old Bridge. He was able to hook me up with a gun and ammo (You can't buy ammo in NJ without a valid permit.) when I was up that way. One of the nicest groups of shooters that I have had the pleasure to shoot with.
  13. I recently did some consulting for a company where there was an employee named Willie Tucker!! A friend of mine went to a high school where they had a teacher named Frieda Butts....and she was a big lady.
