A SIG won CDP not too long ago remember, and for many, the Glock trigger is easier to work than DA/SA. Someone will win CDP with a glock sooner or later.
Weight is a feature and they determined it is enough of an advantage that it requires you to be in ESP.
A friend of mine said it best...when the 226ST came out everyone was saying how great it was and that it barely had any recoil in its 9mm version because of its weight...now that IDPA made a weight cutoff everyone is going back and saying the weight isn't an advantage at all because they still want to go in SSP.
Range commands (finger, muzzle, STOP, etc) for obvious safety reasons should be fully understood by everyone. Other than that, have fun, we were all rookies once
Mine jammed like this too the first day I had it out, but I hand polished the feed ramp and chamber a bit with 1500 grit sandpaper and then flitz and a rag and it has run 2000+ rounds since then with no jams of any kind.
According to the rules I don't think it would be legal. It would have to be SSP legal to be able to compete in ESP since extended dustcovers are specifically disallowed in ESP.
How about the article about 'USPSA Production: The Other IDPA' (maybe not exact quote) I don't know who these articles are written addressing because I feel like they would go over a lot of peoples heads, with all the abbreviationsa and shorthand in it, even though it was directed toward new shooters.
As I bring this thread back from the dead...I just wanted to ask you guys about your experience with Akitas. I want one and was thinking about getting one within the next few months but have heard that they can be very agressive towards other dog and are generally very independant and aloof, not very trainable.
I swipe across the top of the rear sight helps too. I like this little tip, adds a little definition to the top of those sights...seems to really help on those long arse shots.
Damn that makes my time seem real bad Ted
That's a pretty good run including that reload in there
BTW I think our table was too high! If I was a real whiner I'd go back and measure, haha, not that it makes a difference or anything.
EXACTLY!!!
I had a girlsgobothways.com and a mp3downloading subscription.
Call IBillCS back and get the email address and IP used to register that website account. I did and reported it to my bank, who is reporting it to Secret Service (they handle this type of thing but I wonder how high priority my ~$70 is)
Yep legal on Glocks because it's a factory option, which is wierd because I'm sure it's available on some factory 1911s.
For Glocks I use my right thumb because it's much closer to reach than the release on a 1911
Not legal for IDPA

31somthing points in 9.something seconds. Just shot it today so I don't have my offical results handy. I did jot down that it's a 3.31 HF though. Anyone know what percentage in limited this might be?
Pierruiggi, reloads with retention should be the faster of you two, since you don't have to go mag pouch to gun to pocket back to gun again. Are you mixing up the terms or just doing something I'm not doing. Either you have a super quick tac load or your RWR is lagging. I NEVER tac load unless they specifically make you, but that's me.
